Great food in a great setting. Too bad their closing for summer.
Came here for lunch during restaurant week. Had the watermelon gazpacho and the soft shell crab BLT. Both excellent. My husband got the gazpacho and a turkey BLT...he loved it. He had a cactus pear margarita and I had the spicy pineapple margarita. I preferred his...mine was a bit too spicy and I do love heat. We will be back. Lovely outdoor patio and the staff were very attentive. While we did not order dessert, the table next to us did. OMG..that piece of cake could serve 4 easily!
Celebrated a friend's birthday here because we always enjoy a lunch at Jakes'. We all had the soft Shell Crab BLT which we all enjoyed. It comes with a nice mixed green salad. We all had unsweetened ice tea and instead of waiting for refills we were served a small pitcher. Desert was the caramel vanilla cake. Delicious and served with a sparkler to make the occasion special. This is our never disappointing go to restaurant.
My wife and I truly enjoyed our dinner at Jake's. We sat outside, a nice private patio area. The staff was very attentive and helped us make decide what to get. My wife had chicken and I had meatloaf, and both of us were very pleased.
Love the service! The atmosphere is relaxing and the food is delicious. I will recommend Jake’s restaurant for an break in your routine. The environment is great! Blessings! Dr.V
This may very well be the best omelet I've ever had. It was fluffy like a souffle. The service here was excellent. I spent a week in California, eating out every meal. Best service was at Jake's
We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the bartender create all the unique cocktails. The food was good and service was great. We’d definitely dine here again!
Don’t arrive without everyone in your party, because they will make you stand in the heat even when their restaurant is empty.
Great food and friendly staff! Visiting from Ontario Canada, when I return I will visit again. 3 of us had shared 2 Apps was more than enough.
Dinner at Jake's was fantastic - ambiance, service, and food. Appetizer of fried calamari was awesome, particularly the tartar sauce that came with it. Entree of steak - thank you Jake's for making it truly well-done - with mashed potatoes, carrots , and asparagus. Finally, the desserts are laughably over the top as they are easily big enough for two people and our "birthday cake" had a wonderous taste; make sure to see the desserts before you select one. Made reservations about 10 days in advance and it was a good idea as the place was packed at 6pm. Do not miss it when you are in Palm Springs.
