Had the salmon bowl. It was delicious. All the ingredients mixed very well together and the sauce choice was perfect. My husband had the tuna bowl and loved it, too. Saw they have spam fries, so we have to go back to try those. It wasn't cheap, but it was extremely high quality and filling portions.
I really can't say that this place is special. I sat outside, the food was OK. Nothing really stood out to me except that I could see the staff eating behind the counter like it was a buffet. I know staffing is hard so I am not going to complain about the service. However, there are health codes for a reason. I am not recommending this place. There are plenty of other options within walking distance. You should go there.
Food was just okay. I would definitely not say this is a must try. Service was below average. There were 4 tables sat amd no one waiting. My husband and I ordered two waters, a root beer, the jalapeno popper appetizer (bland), a Haus Roll (okay), and a beef bento box (okay). My roll came first. Wait... Where's our appetizer. We shared the roll. When we were down to the last piece, our appetizer came. I put our empty water glasses at the end of the table and asked for more water, it never came. My husband had to get up and go fill them, we waited for about 15 minutes. Still waiting for the root beer. We waited for my husband's bento box, when the server came out with it, she tried to give it to the table next to us. Still, no root beer. Reminded her again, it finally came. While we shared the bento box, we got to watch the sushi chef and another female employee pick food from the sushi counter and putting it in their mouths, RIGHT THERE AT THE COUNTER! From the counter to their mouths, in full view of the customers. Definitely do not recommend.
Had a salmon/ahi tuna bowl and it was fresh and delicious. They have really good ingredients and I was quite full from my bowl. Worth a stop if you’re hungry for poké.
Surprised by all the great reviews. Rive was dry, definitely not enough sauce and light on the fish. Server seemed like she would have rather been anywhere else. We love poke and get it anywhere we can and this is the worst we have had. If it was the first, it's also be the last.
Went in expecting to grab a quick poke bowl, but as it turns out this place is more of a sit down restaurant after 5pm. We decided to go along with it and sat down for dinner. Our server Jawanza was wonderful, friendly, and funny and the sushi was without exaggeration some of the best I've had in Palm Springs. It was a pleasant surprise and I'm excited to go back. Fair warning, prices are higher on the dinner menu.
This is my second time going to this location, thinking it would be different this second time around. Silly of me to expect anything different. The young females that work the morning shift definitely don’t care to be polite or courteous. Especially the girl with the long braids and lower pony tail. I received horrible service throughout the whole time, the kind of attitude they give definitely showed that there was no manager near by.1. I was in middle sentence and would be cut off, when I wasn’t even done explaining to the young lady my request.2. I was in the middle of signing and got the tablet taken before I could even finish.3. I forgot to grab an extra sauce for my girlfriend and when I went back to the counter to request it, both of the girls just kind of looked at each other for a good minute before either of them grabbed it.
I've eaten poke here several times, it's been fresh and tasted great each time. It feels a little expensive, twp-scoop bowl $15, but it is raw fish. It was very quiet on a Friday at 11:30, lots of indoor seating and outdoor seating in the afternoon shade.
Over priced, slow table service. When you eat at one McDonalds, you know what to expect at any of them. Not so with Haus of Poke. We love their fast-food approach in Rancho Mirage and have always enjoyed it. Last night, expecting the same thing we tried their Palm Springs location with a group of five young international students. Unlike Rancho Mirage, this is a sit down and order format as opposed to line up and pick what you want in your bowl. The prices were WAY higher than expected, and I was already obligated to buy dinner for the group. The food took a long time to get there, and all the white rice was cold when served to us. Waitress was friendly but had a lot of tables to cover. If you're going to start a "chain" of restaurants, they should all be the same so people know what to expect. Otherwise give this one an entirely different name. We won't be going back.
One star rating for service. I'm a local and went here today for the first time. One particular young girl who served me was just so terrible. Made me want to get out of the place as quick as possible. Was a waste of hard earned money. Hopefully management addresses this issue.
