We were impressed by the outdoor seating area, but were hoping for a more authentic Mexican meal. Ours was "Midwest tex-mex".
Walked in on a Friday night. Live music in the courtyard. Friendly service authentic food. We had the chicharron and it was really tasty. Large margarita selection.
Great drinks (no food this round, but we will be back!). Great atmosphere -- seriously great, a walled garden courtyard with live, phenomenal traditional music and welcoming friendly service.... So,how great? Like "come back to this place every time you visit Palm Springs" great .... I felt like a vip at an awesome private club type great.I'll update the review next time when I try the food..... I've been to their other location which is quite yummy so I'm assuming I will not be disappointed.
I’ve only had the mole, so far, but plan on going back to try it all! Great service, beautiful setting. Can’t wait to go back!
Food and live music was wonderful, but things I would like to see improved. 1. Skinny margaritas don't have triple sec or any sugar in it whatsoever. What you have is a margarita not a skinny Margarita on the menu. 2. Try soaking the chicken in the marinade and cooking it in it, instead of just pouring it over the top. Chicken breast is bland unmarinated and the sauce wasn't much flavorful either. The Diablo sauce came in very handy. Next time I'll get the carnitas. 3. Chips were good but you do need spicier salsas for the non American taste buds. I did buy a big bottle of the Diablo sauce because it's delicious I can't wait to make shrimp Diablo at home with it. I'm very happy I visited and appreciate the great service.
Had brunch here on a girls trip and it was pretty good. My only gripe is that the pollo adobada was a little dry. Other than that, the queso fundido and guacamole were delicious. The tortillas were made outside by a beautiful woman and were warm and amazing.
Lovely patio with live music playing during Sunday late lunch. Had the Shrimp Picado and it was delicious as were the steak tacos my son enjoyed.
The people that helped us were extremely nice. My mom and I got there a little early and were able to get a table right away with no reservations. The food was fantastic and was brought in a timely manner. I would highly suggest going here. I would go back to this restaurant again when I come back to the area. Only caution is that parking fills up quickly. The parking lot is pretty small.
