Stopped by for dinner last night since we were downtown at the festival. Basic menu with lots to choose from. My wife liked her grilled cheese and I my garlic wings. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you, so there was not much service interaction. Prices are typical Palm Springs. Not bad.
This was our first visit to Palm Springs CA.we arrived a little before noon and walked the downtown area. We were hungry but didn’t want to eat big. Stopped in and ordered a hotdog and a hamburger. Along with a beer and a Palm Springs Lemonade.. Both the hotdog & hamburger were very good. I had ordered the beer and my wife the Lemonade, the lemonade was excellent. Next round, we both had Palm Springs Lemonade. This place isn’t fancy but has great character. Great location, friendly staff. Would differently go again.
On a gorgeous spring day in Palm Springs, Crazy Mel's is like an oasis for lazy legs needing an easy sit down, with good food and drink, and wonderful servers. I loved my local draft beer choice mid-day to accompany their classic Chicken Sandwich with complimentary sweet potato fries on the side. Chicken was perfectly cooked and spiced, the bread was fresh and outside table service wonderful.
I ordered a side of onion rings and a side of sweet potato fries, the price on the menu online was not the price quoted. When I went to pick up order, the owner came over when I questioned to price difference and said that he had not updated his online menu, then added that it really didn’t matter because the prices were going up again, anyway !To add insult to injury, the fries were cold and limp and the onion rings were greasy and soggy, needless to say I took it all back and that will be the last time I ever go there. You lost a customer Crazy Mel’s, not only will I not be eating there again, my team ( I am manager at a downtown store ) will not either.I am also in the position to recommend places to customers that come into my store, not only will I Not recommend Crazy Mel’s, I will actively steer people away .Peace out, Crazy Mel
A fun and quirky stop in downtown Palm Springs. Excellent service! Good drinks! And a fun and friendly staff. :-)
The vegan patty was really good but not actually vegan. It had Swiss and thousand island dressing on.The fried green beans were really interesting. First time I have seen it at a burger place. I would highly recommend ordering them
Weird experience. My husband and I walked in for some appetizers and a drink, only to leave abruptly. The drink was crazy expensive for a place like this, we felt unwelcomed, after we received our drinks, nothing else after that. We weren’t approached any longer. I repeatedly saw the server look at us, so we just asked for our bill and left. And to clarify, I really did feel unwelcome here. I don’t recommend this place.
Great spot to grab a classic burger and fries. Although I would definitely recommend the onion rings!!! Cool games to play around the patio too. Good spot for a quick bite then go walk it off around downtown Palm Springs.
Good burger, nothing special. Great seating area outside near the center of town. Great micheladas. The only thing that I didn't like was the process of paying up front. Makes it harder to keep ordering drinks. I only had one michelada. Maybe ill visit again
Great customer service! A fun place to meet people while enjoying the night.
