I used to love this place but then they created their own app to make reservations and it’s a total rip off. You pay for a reservation and should you need to make a change, you’re literally SOL unless someone wants to buy it from you. Won’t ever be back. Here or Norma’s. Too bad they got so greedy. And despite what the management says, there are 0 available reservations on OpenTable or anywhere else. Also, their “Peak” system doesn’t allow for ANY changes, even if you realize five minutes later that you selected the wrong date or time. You are literally out whatever you spent for your reservation. Don’t get let them scam you too. No place is worth having to pay for a simple reservation.
Great, speakeasy vibe. Food has been better on previous visits. Service was amateur. They rushed the plates out. Timing was completely off. We had to ask them to slow down so that we could enjoy each course. They provided an excuse for why they were coming out so quickly that simply made no sense. A simple acknowledgement and continuing with our meal at a pace we could enjoy would've been sufficient. The two women behind the bar sending out the food could use some training. I'd still return as we've had wonderful experiences in the past. It could be they just had an off night.
Amazing dinner. The food was great, wine was exceptional and the service was some of the best I’ve had. Would definitely return every time I’m in Palm Springs.

Great wine choices, especially the Bouza red! Cozy atmosphere with delicious small bites to share. Roasted artichokes were my fav.
As always we had an exceptional experience at Counter Reformation! The food was delicious, the wine choices excellent and the service was outstanding. Joselyn (sp?) our server was absolutely delightful and knowledgeable. Truly one of our favorite date night spots!
An amazing wine bar with attentive staff and fantastic food. Just walking through the lobby is worth the trip!! A trip back to the 70's vibe & stunning Jonathan Adler design.
