Excellent service- the food was outstanding. Endless champagne!!!! They treated our doggie great. Definitely recommend going there
First time at Bongo Johnnyâs it was very busy on the day we went but the staff and food were excellent. Also Sangria was tasty!
Our third time at this restaurant and our last! Had the ugliest most tasteless beef dip and a spoiled glass of wine. Enough!
One thing I noticed owner reserved a booth for us thru my Open Table reservation, thatâs a first! Then we give the drink order to our server, she was just a little off, had to flag her down for my friends coke had to ask her twice as she forgot. Owner ended up taking our order. Food was good, I had the breakfast sandwich - it was a little dry but good, Caesar salad on the side which was even better. Had to tag down the waitress for more water, she took my glass walked outside put it on another customers table while taking their order. I asked her to get a new glass. BJs was good but not like I remember but loved them reserving the table, nice touch.
We ate on the back patio, and it was hot outside. The giant outdoor fan made a lot of noose, but no breeze. They have heaters outside, but no misters, they need misters! Food was really good, the unlimited champagne was fun!
I love this place! The prices are great and the food is delicious. Our server was fantastic. I wish I knew his name. My only negative is Bongo Johnnys reservations. I make a reservation every time I go but have yet to be seated within a reasonable time. Reservations are for a reason. If you are not going to honor those of us who make a reservation and seat walk ins without thought of reserved tables, then you shouldnât take reservations. Itâs that easy to fix. Itâs frustrating to plan around a mealtime reservation when the reservation means nothing to those in charge. Thank you for reading this. I appreciate it. I truly enjoy your restaurant.
Bongo Johnny's is one of our favorite brunch places. The food is delicious and consistently solid. We also love Jennifer who takes great care of us with a positive attitude and amazing sense of humor. It's a staple for us as locals in PSP.
