Based on my first time at Blue Coyote Grill I was impressed. I had fish tacos (one of my favorite dishes). they were very good. I also had a margarita or three (ok, two in mugs which equals three margaritas). They were very good. Definitely a place I will return to for casual Mexican-inspired food. Oh, and the service was efficient and the server was fun!

My wife and I had a fabulous dinner. We get plenty of "tex-mex" at home, and Blue Coyote offers the standards (tacos, enchiladas, burritos, fajitas) but also has several more interesting, unique dishes. We asked the wait staff for recommendations and were very pleased.

Very slow service. It took over an hour for our food to arrive to our table. Waitress did not come back to check on us or our food. Won’t be back.

Very friendly and welcoming place to have a meal outdoors or indoors. The outdoors seating arrangement has a palm tree garden like setting, beautiful tropical umbrellas, small serene fountain, colorful tables and chairs, plus an amazing view of the main street (- the temporary construction across the street). There is free street parking directly in front and if you can't find a park, it's within walking distance of some of the open lots/side street parking. Great tasting food, huge portions at very reasonable prices. We had the chicken chimichanga, holy mole, and coyote bowl. To top it off the corn cake was a shareable portion and the perfect sweet treat. Aldair and Miguel served us with excellence and everyone left us feeling like we had our meal en la casa de Familia.

Fabulous food some American classics with a twist - the Brisket was amazing! So much choice something for everyone. Margaritas absolutely awesome. It gets busy so make a reservation. Lovely surroundings, knowledgeable attentive staff. Food served quickly fresh and hot. The best in Palm Springs.

I can’t say enough about Blue Coyote Grill! The margaritas are the best I’VE HAD…all hand made…no mix! The staff is incredible….the food is delicious…its truly my home away from home! GO THERE!

They got us in right away despite being at start of the dinner rush, being only to guess we found seating right away. However though our waiter knew we where there to celebrate a birthday didn’t offer desert option or small birthday as a token for the visit.

We visited the restaurant when a guest we were hosting wanted Mexican food, and our favorite Mexican restaurant was closed (a Sunday). The restaurant was busy, but the waitstaff was excellent. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre. None of us finished our meals. Our guest commented that we should ask for a to-go box so that we did not leave all of our meal uneaten and insult the cook. We did, but did not eat the leftovers. So disappointing. No comparison to our favorite Mexican restaurant.

Great place for classic Mexican food. We really appreciate that they had tons and tons of seating both indoors and Outdoors. Even though they were very busy, the wait staff were patient with our large group. The chicken fajitas were a generous portion of both chicken and sauteed vegetables. The taco platter was excellent, and the chips and salsa were fresh and mildly spicy. We will definitely eat here again.

Very nice place. Dog friendly. We stopped on the way from Phoenix to California. Super nice and speedy service. Options for non meat eaters - potato tacos, salads and steamed vegetables. My husband got chicken fajitas and it was definitely shareable. Everyone seemed to be drinking pitchers of margaritas so I have a feeling they are good. The outside patio is really big and shady.
