The staff was excellent and the food was delicious.

Things were going well until the food came out. The atmosphere is nice. The service is attentive, friendly and professional. The outside patio is attractive and comfortable. The cocktails were creative and delicious - but the food was bland and my dish, rice primavera tasted like it came out of a can. Honestly, Marie Calendar frozen dinner is more satisfying. We were so disappointed.
Had a lovely dinner here on the patio with my girlfriend! The servers were so welcoming and friendly and our pasta dishes were delicious. We got the tiramisu and split an espresso martini for dessert, both of which were amazing. Our server went above and beyond to assure we had a great dinner—thank you Al Dente!

As we would be dining on a Friday night we made a reservation a couple of days in advance using Open Table for an outside table at 7:15pm. We showed up a minute or two early and were advised we would have to wait for about 45 minutes. I mentioned that we had a reservation for 7:15 and that we had requested an outside table. The hostess again said we would have to wait 45 minutes and explained others had shown up before us and also requested outside dining. When we pointed out that there was an outside table for two that was not occupied she advised that it was for someone else who had arrived before us. I asked her what was the point of taking reservations if they obviously had no intention of honouring them to which I did not receive a reply. The owner or manager was standing right beside the hostess during our conversation and he did not interject at any point. Needless to say we left and found somewhere else to have dinner. Will not even try to eat there again.

Aldente never disappoints when it comes to service, friendliness and delicious menu items! Always a Palm Springs favorite.
Wonderful all the way around. The food was true Italian, as well as our waiter! The view across the street of construction is the only downside.
