Before the pandemic, it would have been hard to rate 4 Saints as anything but spectacular. Shortly after the reopening after almost two-year pandemic closure, I had a forgettable meal in Dec. 2021. Theyâd lost their chef and simplified the menu. Understandable. I resolved to return, to support my favorite restaurant in Palm Springs. Last nightâs ambiance and service as lovely as ever, but the food was overly complicated ( the menu read like an SNL skit). The taste didnât live up to the promise of the ingredients listed in the menu. When I discovered a long blonde hair fixed into the breading on my potato croquette, I tried to convince myself it was mine. I have short blonde hair, though. Then another blonde hair on the plate, then a 2-inch black hair, under my streak. Couldnât pretend anymore, not my hair. Management very apologetic, etc. drinks only in the future. Beautiful locale but post- pandemic disappointing, even with pandemic calibrated expectations. Wish it werenât so.
This was our first time dining at 4 Saints. It is set atop the Rowan hotel. It is the tallest building in Palm Springs, so the views are wonderful. The dining room is beautiful, and the service is over the top. Add to that the fact that the food was delicious and cooked perfectly.
Food was great. Arlene was our sever and she was absolutely amazing, friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable . Fantastic experience.
What a disappointment. Great location and view but the food was mediocre at best. For the very high price, not at all what you would expect. The Ribeye steak was a decent cut of meat but the seasoning was horrible. Predominant taste is salt. Half chicken was a quarter chicken with a mustard sauce that was just meh. The garlic mushrooms as an a la crate side were rubbery and overpowered by a wine sauce - and not a flavorful one. The lobster roll small plate was tasty but paltry. The roasted red beet small plate was bland. Donât even get me started on the drink glass sizes. $186 for 2 people and they add a 1% service fee on top. Love the hotel but skip this restaurant.
Very nice view! Great service! Amazing food and wine! Deconstructed carrot cake was awesome!
The waiters recommendations were outstanding! I recommend this place if you can get a reservation!
I love this restaurant. The service was too tired and the food is great. Lovely ambience overlooking DTPS.
Very nice experience. Started with drinks at the bar for about 40 minutes and then we were seated at our table. We had a corner booth close to the outdoor area. Nice view of the mountains as the sun set emblazoning them in shadow and light. Food was terrific and our food server was attentive and friendly. We could actually hear ourselves in conversation even though there was a nice buzz around us.
Food was very good. If I got the burger again I would make sure that they didn't do the sauce on the bottom of the plate as it made the burger very messy and hard to pick up. The carrot cake was good, interesting presentation, kind of strange to have sliced cherry tomatoes on it though.
Our server is what made it a fantastic experience. He is the reason why I would go back
