Ate dinner here on 5/2/22. Visiting here from GA. We sat at the bar. Our server was fantastic. She was friendly, responsive and had a positive attitude.I had the tacos Al carbon. Wow, they were fantastic. Steak was really well marinated. The tamales were really tasty and well prepared. I’d definitely return next time I’m in CA.Price was very reasonable for quality food we ate.
The service here is beyond amazing!!! My boyfriend and I showed up to this restaurant maybe 10-15 mins before closing and the staff was very welcoming. We didn’t feel rushed at all, the food was great and drinks were also good. I cannot remember our servers name (and I wish I could) bc she was so nice and attentive. We also noticed that the servers that night sat down at the bar together and ate dinner, which made the restaurant feel like a place you could call home.We really enjoyed our time here and more importantly the food. Thank you for having us. Don’t pass this place up!
In December had family in town and made a 6pm reservation for party of 10. Tried calling multiple times in afternoon to confirm but no answer. Arrived at 5:55pm and was told table was not yet available. At 6:30 asked to speak to manager to express disappointment. His response was" if we were not happy we could leave". Obviously not an option and were finally seated at 6:45. Been at this restaurant many times but not going back with that attitude.
One of our favorite Mexican restaurants when visiting the Desert. We stay in Rancho Mirage, but worth the little trip. Fun place with great decor. It can be pretty busy, but service is prompt. Margaritas are good. Nice warm Chips & Salsa for starters. We shared the Chicken Chimichanga. Only thing we missed was some kind of sauce on it which is the usual from our other experiences. Friendly service from Maritza. Hope to be back next year.
Yeah pretty good Mexican food for Palm desert. The place gets really crowded though. I don't know about a 40 minute wait on a week day.
We waited for an hour and 20 min to be seated outdoors because we had a dog. People lying about having a party of 6 and then showing up with 4 got seated after being there 20 min. We were pretty upset about that and something needs to be done. But our server Victoria made it all better. She was amazing! Food is delicious.
It was a very busy evening but we only waited 5 minutes for a table. Many of the servers don't wear masks (all men)- others do (all women. Just saying). There were simply too many tables inside for the number of servers - it was 20 minutes before we got water, and 35 before we got drinks served, partly because the bartender was chatting instead of making our drinks; our server went to speak sharply to her and then we watched her make our drinks. Mine was supposed to be a "skinny Marg" - she just added some soda water to it and we were charged an extra $5 (again, our table was near the bar and we watched). My ceviche was delicious (although not a real ceviche - the shrimp cocktail was the exact same ingredients plus tomato juice) and my husband's chile relleno quite good as well. Our server was cheerful and never quit moving the whole time we were there - my disappointment was with the time it took to be served, and the poor bar service. This strikes me as a place that the owner spends very little time in.

First of all I thought the chips and salsa were fantastic. It's a very comfortable and decent looking restaurant with a great location. The wife and I shared one of the lunch combinations and it certainly enough food to satisfy both of us. Was it outstanding? No but OK. Here's what went wrong: I ordered a "bar" Margarita and probably should have used the term "house" and I expected a charge of about $8 for the drink. When I received my bill they charged me for a "Cadillac" Margarita and when I questioned the waiter he corrected the bill.
Nice ambiance, busy restaurant. Food and drinks are ok, a little pricey. The salsa and chips seem commercialized and do not taste authentic. The carne asada is a bit tough, likely won’t return.
