our chef was very nice and personable he did a nice job !
Nice place to go to but expect to pay. Our cook made our average dinner better than it was. The restaurant is well kept and the staff is pleasant.
We made a reservation a couple of months ago to make sure we could eat here while on vacation as last summer we weren't able to get in! It was worth the wait as the food and service was superb.
Moms 91st Birthday.
Extremely awkward meal. Chef Jeremy âteasedâ me for making dietary requests (well done shrimp and no sprouts) which then lead to another person at the table finding it appropriate to recommend my boyfriend leave me while he can, while waving his napkin as a red flag. The chef then continued to bro it up with that patron and give him a nice handshake when the meal was over. Super disappointingâ¦
Really really bad food
We have taken our family to the Mikado for 30 years and even had our son's rehearsal dinner here in a private room and it was spectacular. We brought another couple with us last night for dinner and right away our friends were skeptical because they sat a family with two little kids at the same side of the table. It ended up being fine and we enjoyed visiting with them. Our chef was great and the food was good. Overall we enjoyed our evening. We have so many memories here-the boat ride is a must in my opinion-it use to be free but like everything, prices are going up and now they have a per person charge. I hope that the next time we visit the Mikado the stream near the front entry will be cleaned out as it was not a good first impression for our guests. Thank you.

We have been coming to Mikado for the past 15 years. The food and service have gone downhill and the value for what we received was worse. Sad to say our time there has come to an end.
