So many options from date shakes to Dole whip. BOGO Dole whip Tuesdays! Service is great and I love the island vibe.
Visiting from Arizona and employees werent helpful in helping me. There was a long line but , they should be patient and not make me feel rushed to order. Portions are pretty big and so is the price. What we ended up picking was good
First time and won’t be my last! Loved the unique flavors and you’re open to taste test to see what you’d like. The staff was friendly and helpful in making suggesting. They have an array of ice cream, shakes and sorbet! Add to your Must Try list!
On a friend's recommendation, tried Lappert's little ice cream shop. There seem to be a few in Palm Springs. We had a couple 2 scoop sundae's and a coffee ice cream in a cone. Huge servings and really unique flavors to try. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The cash discount was a nice touch too. We couldn't finish the sundae's so we put them in the freezer at the hotel and forgot to take them when we checked out. I want to go back and collect, lol.
Server was friendly and made a wonderful sundae. Excellent ice cream flavors with so many varieties to choose from. Always come here a cpl times when visiting the desert. They also make one heck of a date shake.
Tried this place while we were out in Palm Dessert. Hawaiian Vibes and flavors we could already tell we were going to get a good product. I needed a caffeine boost so I ordered the kona coffee shake. The coffee was nice and strong and with the heat it was super refreshing. Good balance of chocolate and bitter coffee and it looks like they whip their cream fresh for you as well, it was a super good drink. The wifey ordered the Hawaiian sea salt caramel ice cream, you could definitely taste the "premium" in their ice cream. They use good product and you could taste in their ice cream. The only complaint I have is with Premium ice cream you get Premium prices. Definitely on the pricer side of ice cream but for me it matters because the struggle is real. But great stuff I recommend giving it a try!
Pricing is a little excessive. $25 for 2 "large" milkshakes. Baskin Robbins and Cold Stone have same quality, quicker service, and are half the price. Won't be returning. Giving 2 stars because my milkshake still tastes good, just the price left a bitter taste in my mouth. (McDonald's regular size cup for size comparison)
Lapperts is an old school ice cream parlor with a wide variety of yummy "normal" ice creams together with a huge selection of "Dole Whip" options for people who are lactose intolerant, who miss Disneyland, or who simply love the stuff, like I do.If you've never tried it, pineapple is the "standard" flavor but they are all delicious. A Dole Whip Float is a thing of beauty, but probably best shared - they're surprisingly filling but very moreish so having a whole one to yourself can be a bit overkill.Enjoy Lapperts often enough that you can try their regular ice creams, as well... they are delicious, though broadly on a par with Ben & Jerry's or Rite-Aid.Highly recommended.
Cute and quant little ice cream shop with retro decor. Variety of ice cream treats and many flavors and lots of flavors to select from. Enjoy your treat inside or outside. Friendly service. Take a taste test to narrow down your favorite flavor.
I got the Tropical Acai Bowl and it was a huge disappointment. First of all, their bowl is not made on the spot. They make it and then freeze it to save time on preparing it whenever people order it. When I ordered the bowl, the girl had to place it under the faucet to defrost the container. Guess what, I couldn't eat it because it was still frozen which defeated the purpose of enjoying it on the spot! Now let's talk about the toppings. The granola was old, the taste had a stale one. The pineapple was from a can and not fresh fruit. I can't speak about the mango because I didn't eat it. I also got the Passion Berry Smoothie, nothing special and definitely not worth it for me. I had better smoothies for the same price at other places. However, I do love their Dole Whip! I DEFINITELY will recommend the Mangoneada! Lol just save your money on the Bowls and go for the Dole Whips.
