We had a terrific lunch here; excellent fish tacos! Comfy, authentic atmosphere and friendly, attentive service. The chips (made on-site) were the best we'd ever had; so fresh and crunchy that we ordered a bag to go, too! I highly recommend this Cucina!
Fantastic. Best I’ve had in a long time. Mole sauce is excellent. Truly authentic.
Was hungry for Mexican Food and found La Cocina De Mama.Carnita plate was excellent, tortillas were fresh, margarita was weak.Overall worth the stop, and I’d go back for the carnitas.
Visiting the area and tried several different Mexican restaurants and this was by far the best. The mole was great and the chicken pieces were cooked on the bone in the sauce, not just poured over dry breast meat, like other places. The chili relleno and carnitas were also excellent. Small hole in the wall, unassuming location
Only one waitress and one cook, this led to us waiting over thirty minutes for tacos while two other tables with more people than us got their food before us, and we ordered before they even got there. When my tacos finally got there they were barely warm and the tortillas completely fell apart from how long the taco had been sitting there absorbing its own moisture, like if they had just been sitting in the back for a very long time. It was disappointing to say the least. Flavor was not great.
The food here is so flavorful, I definitely recommend this restaurant. The prices are fair and the employees were so attentive and friendly. I felt very welcome. Thank you.
This is an exemplary eatery! Worth going, It was completely ready by their expert and experienced cook. My experience here is consistently extraordinary. The costs are likewise sensible. Enthusiastically suggested!
Small quaint Mexican restaurant that is reasonably priced and taste good. My family of 6 enjoyed all that was ordered. Chips and salsa are not free but only cost $1 for a basket. Nice atmosphere with Mexican music playing in the background. We liked the food so much, especially the flan, that we ate here once more the for dinner, and had the same experience as we did for lunch. Service was very good and attentive, like being served by a family member.
My daughter Saud she loves thier tortas! And she is very picky so I am assuming it is bomb. Unfortunately, it wasn't open when we arrived. But I did not want to give it low stars so stars are based off my daughters word but will try later myself when open
I'm usually in the area a little after the lunch rush (1pm or later), so I tend to not have to wait for a table. My favorite dish here are the lengua tacos! Although, I know some people get weirded out by tongue. If you've never tried it and are feeling adventurous, this is a great place to have it for the first time. Here it's cooked with a texture similar to beef stew- falls apart easily, yet slightly firm when you first bite into it.Make sure to get green salsa and their spicy salsa on the side, no matter what dish you choose.
