JC's Cafe was a most enjoyable sit down. The atmosphere, the food, the people, the service. 5 star all the way. The coffee wasn't even bad where most places it is. ? We sat outside on a perfect day. Pure pleasure. Great job guys. Really enjoyed it. ?
A delightful restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating. Patio dining offers a water fountain that adds to the serene ambience. Food was tasty and portions were reasonable. My husband had the turkey burger and said it was the best he's had. Cocktails are in the strong side and reasonably priced. Will definitely eat here again.

We have had the good fortune of having both breakfast and lunch here and cannot wait to return. Prices are reasonable (That’s a real discovery in the desert!) and the food is delicious. Don’t miss this little gem! Don’t miss the hot pastrami Mimi’s style!
Excellent lunch with family after not seeing them since 2019. Nice lunch focktails: gin and tonic, salty dog, beer. Sandwiches were also well made: tuna melt on marble rye, pulled pork, salmon sandwich, and BLAT. All good size. Sides were good except fruit was unripe. Attentative service. Never felt rushed to give up our table.
When my friends and I visit Palm Desert, we always dine at JC's 3-5 times during the week. Great food, great service, wonderful setting. We do miss the prior owners but the new management is wonderful, too.
JC's is tucked in off El Paseo and Sage in Palm Desert. They have a sweet patio under the trees. I've had several things that I love to eat there. Machaca and eggs, Avocado Toast, Soup and Sandwich, along with a mimosa. This is a photo of the hot dog my sister ordered yesterday and she loved it! It had sauerkraut and mustard along with a very tasty pickle. Tiny inside, but sit out if you can.
Good pulled pork sandwich and potato salad. Out door seating was enjoyable. They offer very good tasting chocolate lava cake. The staff were very alter and attentive.
