Lovely food and service. The octopus is spectacular. All that said the room isnât sufficiently air conditioned and we were miserable.. The owners need to address this- the desert is hot.
We had reservations for 5:45 on Saturday night and there was hardly anyone there when we arrived. Our waiter took our order for the 64 ounce âspecial â steak Florentine and then came back 10 minutes later to say that they didnât have it!!! âWhat do you mean you donât have it?â He said he was told that they did not receive their delivery of this particular cut of steak - and they had nothing else to substitute! We should have just left. But we didnât. And wonât be back as thatâs just unacceptable for a nice restaurant on a Saturday night. The waiter didnât really care. That was his attitude. He just had THAT kind of attitude. Next!
The service was very good. The staff and waiters were very attentive. The food was excellent.

Everything was excellent excerpt for the salads. While the presentation was beautiful, the red wine vinaigrette was almost tasteless. This was a disappointment. Our salads were greatly delayed in being served. Someone walked around from table to table asking how everything was, but she never acted on our comments about the delay. We still waited and waited. She told us the delay was because they were busy. Really? That was a poor excuse for sitting for 20 minutes with no communication from waitstaff. This was another disappointment. The waiter meant well, but often got âlostâ.
My second time here, and loved it. Great service, friendly staff, nice and cool. I had the special - which was a Swordfish with tomatoes and capers - was excellent.
