I went by myself to this spot before the crazy weekend of stagecoach. I sat at the bar to order my food. Cool people next to me.I wanted a yummy Mexican dish, and totally got it!! However, it took a minute!!First, they brought carnitas tacos instead of chicken. I don’t eat pork. When I told the bartender and waiter it was the wrong order, they were trying to argue with me about the meat. It CLEARLY looked like pork meat and not chicken. My meal was not comped for the mistake and they were so rude about it too as if I was in the wrong. Will not come back again.
The food and service were very good here but I found the margaritas kind of bitter. We sat outside and enjoyed the misters that cooled us.
Some of the best (and strongest) margarita’s I’ve ever had. Great prices; and good quantity. The bartenders were AWESOME. Jesus and the other guy were great; very knowledgeable and very friendly. I love spice and he gave me this habanero sauce to try. Was so tasty and the right amount of heat. Super tasty burrito. Even the rice and beans were delicious. Overall a really nice spot. Highly recommend checking out. If dining with a party of 4 or more; come early to avoid the wait.
The food and drinks were great, but you pay a premium price. Two margaritas, two dinner plates (not lobster), and one dessert was $90. Eat outside if you can. Inside was very noisy.
We agree with other reviews in that the food was only OK. My margarita was not great either. Our server was very nice and attentive, but this place didn’t really stand out. We walked El Paseo after dinner and saw many other restaurants with better atmosphere that we wished we had tried.
I had the burrito with carnitas. Less meat than I remember before. Meat was luke warm and not super tender. My wife ordered the steak fajitas which she enjoyed. Prices are high for what you get. Margs were fine. Not rushing to go back.
The queso fondido was delicious! Also enjoyed the shrimp fajitas. The non-blended margaritas are awful.
I was really looking forward to a great margarita but we ordered 4 of them and they all were a huge disappointment. I asked to add something to it and by the time our server returned my ice was melted. You think that he would of brought us fresh one's. It was a loud restaurant so when it came to visiting it was impossible. Food was just okay. I will definitely find a different Mexican restaurant next time.
Delicious, tasty food with outstanding service! We dropped in and didn't have a wait, though 30 minutes later, people were. Families, date nights, birthdays, sports fans-- lively atmosphere for all ages. Hubs and I agreed that the food was excellent. I had Ground Beef Chile Rellano and he had the Enchilada Combo. We are still talking about the food and the margaritas!! I would buy the salsa alone and the chips were kept as full as we wanted. Can't wait to go back.
We've had better Mexican food. My wife had the Camarones with MOJO de ajo (garlic). I had the Corn Tamales. Both were ok. We both had a glass of sangria. Not great. Service was good. We ate on the patio. Inside was wall to wall people as if the pandemic was over. We were glad to be on the patio.
