This was my first time at Cork Tree Located in shopping center that has many empty store fronts. I was pleasantly surprise how large the restaurant was inside. The menu was somewhat on the smaller side but a very nice variety, the preparation and presentation of the food was done Nicely. The favor which was the special I ordered scallop shrimp salmon was very good. I look forward going back.
Great experience at Cork Tree last night. Successfully booked the reservation for six through the OpenTable app; the table was ready right away upon our arrival, and we were actually placed in a semi-private room. Our server Nick was great! The food was fantastic! Great time with great friends and great food.
We drove in from LA, and very few places took reservations at 9:30 - Cork Tree did, which was one of the deciding factors. We were seated, and the staff was really nice - they didn't hurry us one bit. I started with a Caesar, which was great - lots of anchovies, and I had Cioppino, which was terrific - I'm always surprised when seafood is convincing in the desert! My partner started with Tuna Tartare, and then had the duck breast - it's not easy to do a satisfying duck breast, and they did a great job. The room is pretty, and it's calm - it was late when we got there, so I'm sure that earlier and in season, it would have a lot more buzz. The menus light up when you open them, so they're really easy to read!! It's not inexpensive, but the meal and the service easily warranted the price. We'll definitely go back.

My friend had the filet and loved it. Best ever, she said. My scallops weren't as successful. Granted many people love this dish, but (my opinion) too many flavors on the plate were not compatible with the sweetness of the scallops. The Brussel sprouts flavor was too harsh against the scallops and the pomegranate seeds didn't add anything other than color. Something like the sweetness of corn would be delightful and maybe small dice red pepper for color and go from there. Again, my opinion only. And, I detected a slight age issue with the scallops. Other than this, I WILL be back - perhaps for the filet.

The food was quite good and the staff courteous. But ⦠Is there such a thing as too much service/attention? We were repeatedly asked if we were finished with our meals, even though we were clearly still eating,to the point of annoyance and given the feeling of being rushed to vacate our table. The restaurant was not full or even near capacity.
We liked everything, the food selection available, the food and drinks we ordered, and the superb services of Keith, our waiter.
Exceptional meal and service. We had forgotten what a fine restaurant this is, with a beautiful dining room and true Fine Dining service. We shall return!
