Probably the most uncared for Chipotle I've been in. The counter for food/serving was smeared with food and sauces? It was filthy. I tried to toss it off as, they were busy, but looking toward the back as I was waiting to pay, there was a large puddle of water on the floor that people were just walking around. No one was taking any time to clean it. Serious safety hazard. I've been here before, but this was the worst.
Decent fast food, mostly healthy ingredients you choose as they build your burrito, bowl, or tacos.
Great service by an employee with a mask. The employees preparing the food did not have on masks.

I stop in here at least once a week...takeout and dine in. I love the food, the service is sometimes spotty but no real complaint there. What I am tired of is the inconsistent amount of food they put in a burrito bowl. It so happens that when a guy is dishing up the rice, beans and chicken I get a full spoonful of each, but when the younger skinny girls are spooning it up they put half or 3/4 of a spoonful... I guess it's how they would eat. It's a pattern that I've experienced over the years. When I say something about adding more rice or beans they put a tiny amount more, but if I ask for more chicken to get the amount the guys put in... I get resistance and I've been told I need to order "double" chicken...and pay more. So from now on if one of the young skinny girls is dishing up the rice, beans and chicken when I walk in the door... I'm turning right around and leaving. There are plenty of other places to get fed in Palm Desert.
The soy rizo salad is so good and the new shredded beef barbacoa is yummy.
VERY STRANGE. True story. So I enter and smile at the guy behind the counter. He doesn't smile back. I say 'hi'. He doesn't say 'hi' back.I then ask him 'What's good here?' He doesn't answer back. I then order and he mumbles something to me under his mask.My friend then says 'hi' and he doesn't respond. She asks him a question. No response.So I go to the next employee down the line. I say 'hi'. She doesn't say 'hi' back. I ask her a question. She doesn't respond back.This is shamefully a true story. They need to hire non-Zombies to work here. Seriously. I've had it with Chipotle anyway.
The food was warm, I'd perfer it to at least hot from the beginning. I ate there so I couldn't pop it in the microwave. The new brisket was fatty otherwise a good flavor. Service impeccable!
