This is the WORST place I will never go back I drive up to order takes them 5 min to answer the speaker after I am saying hello!! Then I go to give my order and they start speaking amongst them selves in spanish in the middle of me ordering my food. Then I drive to walk in to see why I wasnt able to order the girls start speaking in spanish again and then tell me they are changing the order. Hmmm no wonder they never have customers. Rude customer service this place should not be in business. Skip this knock off mexican food restaurant.
The good part, is that they are open 24 hours but I don’t know about the service.They didn’t offer me a drink and give me the food to go and we ordered to dine in.My food was too spicy.I order enchiladas verdes and me wife order torta de asada.
I ordered something I had ordered from the P.S and D.H.S drive thru but the one in P.D was way hotter! I was very disappointed because I took two bites and gave it away (as a parting gift! LoL)
I like that they're open 24 hrs. I'm a trucker, so this beats gas station stops. Thought prices would be lower since it's in the desert, but they're doable. It's a hole in the wall restaurant. Don't expect 5-star "bend over backwards and jump thru hoops for you" service; just somewhat common courtesy to the best of ones ability/knowledge. I laugh when reading some of these ppls reviews. Go next door to Cocos if you want profuse apologies and the phone answered white...I mean, right. Lol. Ordered an asada burrito. Made it in 3 minutes (visited them at 3am). I was suspicious what kind of quality I'd get for 3 minutes, but it was good. Skip the shredded cheese at this place. Heavy set older graying latin man did put his bare hand in cheese bin and did n.o.t. wear a face mask at all. People, if you don't like something, say something then and there. Don't go on your cells to complain if you didnt stand up for yourself when it mattered. Lol. I'll be coming back here weekly to try some other options. Wish the trucking community knew about this hidden spot.
Oh no my favorite Mexican place and I got food poisoning, was down for three days and had to call out work. Bummer usually love the place
One of the cooks took my order in the drive through. I specifically said please make sure there's no cheese on anything because I am allergic to it and he said don't worry I'm the one making the food. I get all the way home and guess what, there's cheese on it. Unfortunately this happens quite often there so always check your food!
We go there all the time and have never had an issue. Food is great, good prices, love the 24hours and staff is friendly.
The woman that answered the phone...was rude. Nor did she say "castenadas"when she answered I had to ask her. When I told her there was a mistake with my orderShe just said. "This is the castenadas on varner" AND HUNG UP ON ME!! when i called back there was an automated message machine that said they weren't accepting calls to call back later!!I couldn't beleive it!!The food has been good in the past but was just awful, not to mention they messed up my order!!!A very simple order. 2 burritos meat and cheese only..And they couldn't pull that off!! Wow is all I have to say!!
Good Mexican food. Nice selection of dishes. I wouldn't rate it as the best as I like the small taco shops for authentic Mexican food. My wife had an Al pastor burrito, but it was too spicy for her. I had a carne asada burrito and it was good. Flour tortillas on both were old, stale and fell apart. I have been to other Castenadas and it was better.Good Mexican food available all hours at a decent price. Try the Chile Verde nachos or fries.
The food was so freaking delicious. It's worth the money spend the for our meals. I will be a repeated customer.
