food was good but AC wasn't working. made the visit less than great.edit - thanks to response. The AC could not keep up, too hot outside. Food was good and you will not be disappointed.
I could hear Sinatra playing in the background and everyone was in pleasant conversation creating a lively but reserved atmosphere. Televisions playing local sports for those wanting to watch. And the sun setting in the huge bay window gave a nice desert spaghetti Western feel with a twist of lime to keep it refreshing.Like others reviews I'm reading, I have been meaning to try this spot. Tonight I finally did and it was exquisite. The owner tended bar where I sat and he suggested an authentic Italian beverage called an Aperol Spritzer. Nice and refreshing citrus liqueur. Great for this summer heat.I was only wanting to have a drink and maybe an appetizer but the aroma of Italian cuisine is so appetizing that I couldn't resist and opted for gnocchi al pesto which isn't even on the menu but Enzo made it happen. I felt like family on my very first visit. Just like Italians like to do. Very authentic atmosphere, food, and culture. I would recommend for either a little romantic dinner for two or even if you had a party, they seem to accommodate for those in a separate room. Casual dress but this is the kind of place that you could wear a shirt and tie and you would still fit in.
We had been meaning to try this place for years. Moved out of state now back visiting and gave it a whirl. So sad we waited so long to try. Beautifully prepared and tasty food.
The staff is great. Fast, efficient and friendly. The food is top shelf. I can say I am addicted to the pesto chicken linguine . Even the bread is delicious: freshly toasted slices, dipping into balsamic vinegar and oil. Careful...the servings are huge and it is easy to fill up on the bread alone. I strongly recommend this dinner-only spot.
Meatballs wrapped in garlic knots was disappointing. Spicy sauce with bucatini was more smokey than spicy. Overall food was pretty average. I'll search for other Italian restaurants in Palm Desert...
This place is much more than a pizza joint, although they do make pizza. Try the Spaghetti Carbonara.
Great food. Ordered Chicken Marsala. Good portion, comes with penne pasta. Side salad pricey and is not served before the entree, so need to tell the waiter.
We had a delicious dinner here while we were in Palm Desert. We didn't have a resi so there was a short wait. It was certainly worth it! Food was terrific, service was attentive & friendly.
For pizza lovers this restaurant is bound to disappoint. Nice staff does not make up for mediocre pizza, crust not fully cooked, tasteless cheese with little sauce.
Loved the food it was good! The bread was so delicious and so was my food! Staff there was incredible. I only gave it 4 stars because I had to wait along time to be seated and it took along time for my food to come out...
