When arriving I parked my car to the right side of the building because it was so windy, and we had to walk to the left side of the building to enter because the front entrance was closed. We were seated within a couple minutes, that was a plus. I ordered the new Mountain Dew on and it was flat; that's where the service went downhill. I told our server and she never brought back a new drink or offered something else. After ten minutes she finally came back to our table to take our order. I asked to get a Pepsi and the Pepsi was slightly flat. My sister and I slit on the 2 for $35; I ordered the spicy honey chicken on penne. Our meals arrived, and one have no sauce on it. We agreed that it's okay to have the sauce on the side. It turns out that our plates that arrived were other guests' meals. My sister had already started eating, so they took back my plate and not hers. My food came out a few minutes later. The food was pretty dam good, no issues there. While eating the food, our waitress didn't come by our table much. So we only had one refill on the drinks. After eating we ordered the molten lava cake. Pretty dam good too. Went leave we had to split the order and it took 10+ minutes. Great food, nasty soda and terrible service. Hire more workers or you will lose more guest such as myself.
You're better off getting fast food. Steak had to have been microwaved and seared at the end. There is no other way it could be that tough but still pink inside. The crispy shrimp tasted and looked like it came out of a bag from the freezer aisle. I will never eat at Applebee's again. Over $120. For 2 adults and a child and it was awful.
Applebee's isn't a staple of amazing things but there are very few choices in Palm Desert and we wanted to get a beer after a conference. This place is old and dated. It is in desperate need of a remodel. The beer was cold, that was the two stars. The bar tender wasn't very friendly and the place was dead and they did the dreaded "let's start cleaning and closing three hours early". Not super inviting to order another when they are stacking chairs on tables. So, we let and they went from 4 people to 2.
Poor slow service, Lacking draft beer selections out of most on tap. Don't say it's a supply chain issue because every other bar and restaurant out here have the very basic tap beers on hand that this location lacks. Piss poor management!!! Not to mention the appetizers showing up at the same time as the main course. Very frustrating when that happens. Poor experience, will not be returning!!!
Again this location jas it together I'm referring to the location off of Washington. People are so very nice to deal with, food is great and the timing is even better usually within five minuyesnof my arrival. Thanks guys
Had a nice dinner one evening and returned the next day for lunch. Unlike the previous evening, music was loud heavy metal. The server asked to have it turned down but was told that the company policy is for the music to be loud at lunch and louder at dinner. I left without eating my meal. Shocking that a restaurant would actively drive customers away.
We really enjoy going coming to this Applebee's location. Everyone is always friendly and provide excellent service. The wait time varies between 5 minutes to an hour just depending on your party size and how busy they are. My husband enjoys the perfect patron margarita. I have tried several of there drinks the blue Hawaiian long island, shark bowl and top shelf Long Island iced tea. They all are good but depends on the bartender they have that night.
The staff was amazingly helpful, kind and welcoming. Large draft selection and menu items. I will be back soon for try other items of menu.
We picked up our food at the curbside. Very good organized. No app needed. Staff was very nice and came right out after I had informed them about my arrival. The food was hot and tasty. We will do this again some time, for sure.
Horrible service. Only people in waiting area 8 feet from an open booth but the guy wouldn’t sit us because we didn’t have masks. I asked nice saying. Can you just hurry up and sit us in that booth. He said no.
