When talking about Indonesian cuisine, you might come across popular dishes such as Gado Gado, Nasi Kuning or SATAY! Finding a good Satay joint on the other hand can be quite challenging. But today is your lucky day, because you've stumbled upon a gem! Satay Lisa does authentic Indonesian Satay right! They offer both pork and chicken options, and it comes with a delicious bed of rice and their signature peanut sauce! The satay is always made to order so that you will have it fresh off the grill. The chicken is perfectly cooked so that you get tender juicy pieces of meat. The peanut sauce was a perfect accompaniment to my meal, and I was tempted to ask for more! It really brings back the taste of home!Satay Lisa also offers a variety of other popular Indonesian dishes such as the Pastel (Like a fried Indonesian empanada), Ayam Goreng (Cornish Hen) and specials depending on their location. Their drinks are also really tasty! I love that they aren't overly sweet, if you like Teh Kotak, I recommend trying their Peachy Plum! Can't wait to go back to Satay Lisa to eat more delicious satay! Check them out on Instagram to see where they will pop up next! @sataylisa

I was desperately looking for someone to make satay for our pastor as he has never tried Indonesian sate before. I spoke with Kevin owner and I was impressed how he responds to any questions. Apparently the recipee is from his mother Lisa. They were willing to go out of the way to please their customers including delivering it to us at the last minute.Satay was delicious the pork was soo good as well as the bakwan!! So crunchy even for to go what a deal for $1.50It was a huge piece. When we received the sate, everything was very well packed. All the sauces were included and packed separetly. We are definitely going to follow them on instagram and see where Sate Lisa's truck is so we can order more.. we have recommended to many friends. Very reasonable priced, excellent customer service. That is how they will create a lasting customer
My mom and I had a delicious meal from Satay Lisa this last weekend at The Valley Fest. The chicken satay was so good and there was a yummy sauce to dip it in. My mom had the empanada and she said it was very flavorful. We both really enjoyed it and look forward to making a trip to the west valley to eat something else delicious soon!
The satay babi is just as good as the satay ayam!
Empanadas are amazing! Perfect amount of kick

So I had a craving for Chinese food and stopped off at the Silver Panda on Mason, near Devonshire, and i put in my order and the nice lady tells me it'll be about 15 minutes. i tell her i'm going to be outside and i go outside to wait. Parked not 25 yards from is is a food truck called "Satay Lisa." I love a good satay and went to have a look. I had just enough left to get one. All of the guys in the truck were very cool. As I said, i love a good satay and I gotta say it wasn't good...it was f'in AWESOME. I will be going back to get the full order and I have to say the prices are really good. Good Luck guys and you'll be seeing me again.
