I was led here for the good reviews and they were right, this is a very small Salvi restaurant with friendly people it's not a really fancy place in fact it looks pretty raggedy. But don't let that fool you they have the best rice pupusas and the best fried yuca with chicharron I've ever found. Atol de elote was very sweet and all their other drinks too for my taste but they were still good, ask for ice when ordering. Not sure if they have parking because I've always parked in the street right in front of it.

This is one of my favorite spots to eat at. I love their pupusas probably the best I've ever had. It's locally owned and the staff here really make you feel like a guest in their home.I saw another reviewer who said she had been coming here for years and now suddenly one bad visit and she gives this place 3 stars. If you've been coming here for years why didn't you give them a 5 star review before? It really shows how some customers are not loyal and will turn on your business after 1 bad visit. Smh.Don't let the negative reviews steer you away from some of the best food and best pupusas in the neighborhood. Definitely a diamond in the rough.

I went there one time and I did order bean papusas when I came home I notice they used cane beans taste was so bad I know that’s traditional food from Salvador but it’s was so bad I no wanna go back again that place .

Food is fresh made to order and super good Great taste home made tortillas. Is better if you order in advance so you don't have to wait for it, because it takes 25 min

Exactly what I want it to be. I don’t doubt there are scores of pupusarias in LA that are just as good. Always stop in after hiking the nearby mountains and it hits the spot every time. Only complaint is that it will take 20 min to get your order. On the plus side, that’s because they make then as they are ordered. They have a a dozen different types, but for my money the standard queso is the best. The traditional toppings are perfect.

Been coming here for 3 1/2 years now and everything has always been so delicious and so organized but unfortunately as of a few months ago the service has not been great the food has made a drastic change and the service has really gone down.today we came and have been waiting an hour and a half and then when the food came it wasn’t the right order.and it empty today I know people make mistakes but sometimes the food comes out wrong or they seem in a bad mood sometimes the food comes out cold. I love this place and still continue to come here since my partner loves it but sometimes it’s disappointing we come here every other week I really hope it starts getting better definitely miss the little old lady behind the griddle

The chicken soup aka: caldo de gallina is good. However the yuca plate is horrible. It was re fried and just horrible, it tasted really bad, tasted like old oil was re used.

These pupusas are just right made right when u order.

Good food, this is original salvadoreñan food, like our grandma use to make ?

Pupusas not so tasty and the sauce was even worse.
