FUN place! Cool vibe.. old school ambiance and food.. which is what we DIG! Will definitely be returning again soon. Will be recommended by me to friends . Especially out here in the coast.. Get the Prime Rib!!!
Came here with a friend and our 2 kids, food was not good at all. Kids didn’t even eat it and we only had a couple bites. The bill was over $100 and definitely not worth it.
Rating 3.5 starsThe food is good. You need to know that you will have a good meal. Especially if you happen to be waiting in that long line for Gorilla bbq. :)I've included pictures here. We ordered prime rib (medium), shrimp scampi with pesto linguine, clam chowder, and ravioli (child portion). The brownie with vanilla ice cream was super good. The food is solid and the food reminds me of Original Joe's. You know what you're going to get here. The atmosphere is old school but that's not bad. Take a look at the pictures on the walls and the awesome dioramas of Pacifica when trains ran through town. Let me know what you think.
Loved the food! I especially enjoyed the ambiance. I would come here again. Thanks Erin and Barbara!
Despite what reviews said we decided to try vallemar station... we walked in right before 1pm today and as soon as we walked in the heavy set lady behind the bar immediately told us they were closed! And would be closed for another 25 to 35 minutes as the "cook was busy frying chicken". She then told us we could come back later if we wanted to.There was no offer to sit down and order drinks or wait. They seemed to not want any customers/business. This woman came off as rude and we decided not to dine here. I had read reviews about the rude service and was willing to give it a try.
The best cioppino I’ve had in a long time. Very authentic.
The place is a definate gem in hiding. The service was good, the owner was glad to see us, the food was great. We ordered the crab sandwich. fish and chips, prime rib, burgers, chowder, salads, and chicken strips. All was great, we will be back again. We all gave thumbs up and there was 15 of us from a wedding party.
No service. Stood there waiting to be seated. A lady made a comment about an RV parked in the back and was complaining and the guy sitting at the bar said they are squatters. We said no, we are here to eat your food. The guy apologized but the ol lady said we have no food until 4:30. Very rude and never once greeted us. I’ve been all over the NorthWest coast and this by far was embarrassing.
The stroganoff was just delish. Everything was great. Going back sometime.
Very nice. Great Food, good prices, nice varied menu.
