Sushi was slimy. Its rare that the sushi is so bad that i will leave it uneaten, but that is what happened. I had the warrior roll: hamachi and salmon. Some of the fishpieces tasted like they had been soaking over night in lemon juice, and were quite bitter. In fact there was lemon peel in the roll. In other pieces the hamachi was slimy, and the salmon was mushy. I now suspect the strong lemon was to hide the fact that the fish was not fresh. It turned my stomach so badly that i couldnt force myself to finish the $17 roll. Sadly will not be a repeat customer.
I bet the food is good based on the other reviews but we didn’t stay to eat. The place was small, dark & seemed kinda dirty so we left.
I used to come here often but over the past year it has been bad. At the register, no one greets you and you have to wave down someone to let them know you’re there to pick up. Consistently have to wait 20+ min beyond the estimated wait time. Then the food is cold when you get it and the last few times has included wrong items and missed items. We’ve tried to give them another shot several times thinking maybe they had an off night but this has been one time too many.
Great authentic Japanese cuisine. The service was great , and the food was very tasty.
Nice ambience and very affable service. The menu was crisp and yummy. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Convenient rates and large meals. Great work.
This place was definitely more than I expected. The food was delicious. Service was good and quick. We started with Chicken Karaage and Fish Tacos. I was surprised by the quantity of the chicken karaage. For an appetizer it’s pretty well served and its super tasty! The Fish tacos were pretty good but not my favorite. The fish lacked some flavor, the taste and texture of the avocado overpowered the fish. We also got the Salmon Skin roll and the Romeo and Juliet roll which we were told was one of the most popular rolls. I personally liked the Salmon Skin better, I thought the price was great! (7.50) it has more flavor and more texture. The Romeo and Juliet roll was good but the level of spiciness was a little too high for me. Overall i loved this place! Was vey happy with the prices and satisfied with the service.They have their own parking lot for customers too.Will be coming back!
After 40 years (I am 70) and living in Chicago, Baltimore, Tucson and now Pacifica eating sushi, this was about the of worst Sushi my wife and I have ever had. The fish was mushy, the rolls were poorly constructed, taste was just off. We threw almost all of it away. I do not know how they got such a good rating. This was carryout, we got there just as it was finishished and we live 5 minutes from the restaurant, so it was as fresh as if we ate it there.
Food was amazing, pleased with every aspect of the visit. Friendly people as well!I’m not a local so it was nice to have a good experience
