Good food and great margaritas!
Beachside Mexican restaurant with a stand alone bar and ample indoor and outdoor seating. Just a 2 minute walk from the beach. Quite possibly the best burritos in the entire Bay Area. We specifically come here for them. If you get them, you must order the skirt steak! They are fire grilled and charred to perfection. You won’t regret.They also have a bar in the back which serves beer and cocktails. The margaritas here are great and don’t taste fake at all. The servers here know what they’re doing for sure.The huge plus here is that you can simply walk around the restaurant and the beach is right there. It’s a wonderful location and this restaurant is HIGHLY recommended.
Table was dirty, wall was dirty and had lord knows what splattered all over it. Birds flying in landing on tables. Bird pooped right next to me, missed the corner of my chair. Another customer walks in with very beautiful German shepherd. Love dogs but, not in a restaurant. $11.00 for a bowl of tortilla chicken soup, with very little chicken. Very disappointing
Waited 40 minutes for a carnitas burrito. A 12 oz coke is $4.75. Burrito and salsa were severely lacking flavor
The place has the best margaritas ever! And the staff is so nice and professional. Definitely coming back
Where do I start 1st of all update your hours 2nd 2nd I can't even tell you how many times I've been disappointed in the food but I came for corn beef and cabbage burrito They said they're closed and I said I have to get to work should I call ahead and they're like come back in 30 minutes Guess what some people have to get back to work thank you for confirming I'll just take my business elsewhere ✌️✌️✌️

I'm from Texas and this is by far the best Mexican food I've had here. The portions are great for the price.
The best family friendly restaurant ever!!! the food the service and the location are unbeatable!! I love coming here to meet up with friends and family every time I come home since I live out of town now!!
We Love to get their food. All the foods we eat at La Playa are delicious and the portions are big. And its a great place to watch the games with other fans and screen for your team
