Found this place by accident. Love it! Charming place. Friendly owners and delicious food!
Absolutely spectacular Peruvian coastal cuisine with a Mexi-Cali twist. Always creative culinary creations with dedication to flavor quality and customer happiness. I never miss a chance to visit El Toro Loco!
First time we have had the opportunity to eat Peruvian Food. All we can say is W O W. We did a little sampling of the first five items on the menu. The food was D E L I C I O U S. Flavorful and diverse. The Shrimp Soup was heavenly. The owner spent time to talk about the food, culture and the history of the restaurant. When in Pacifica CA, this is a must place to dine.
Living in Pacifica is great, we are all neighbors and the small town vibe is present with everything we do. Unfortunately the friendly vibe makes us more tolerable of bad food. This is the case here.First, they didn't have ceviche, or moat of the other things I wanted to order. The food was tasteless. Lomo Saltado was flavorless, the fried fish was breaded soft soggy we did not eat. The chicharrones de pescado were not as advertised. They were just deep fried beaded fish filets that also went right in the trash. I have to complain because it was $60.If you want real authentic Peruvian at a higher price range I highly recommend the competition. La Costanero at Princeton Harbor and the Peruvian Food truck that sits on the parking lot of Princeton.
Shrimp Diablo is delicious! Very friendly service
The food is super delicious and the staff is very nice. They are fairly priced and the portions are good. Definitely coming back the next time we're in town.
Tried Peruvian food for the first time & loved it!!Service- Even though it was crowded over the weekend & there was just one chef in the kitchen, staff went above & beyond to make sure all guests were accommodated & happy.
Authentic food with friendly service. I ordered the Lomo Saltado. It was piping hot and full of flavor.
This was one of those meals that leave you completely satisfied. This place serves Peruvian and Mexican cuisine. We had to go with Peuvian, we both had the Lomo Saltado and Sangría, it was so delicious, definitely UMAMI! The salsa that was served with the chips was also very good.
We were looking for a place opened on New Year’s Day and this place was and oh man it was goooooood! We ordered beef quesadilla, cassava and enchilada plate. Food was delicious, fresh, the beef in the quesadilla had a nice sear and the guacamole and sour cream was flavorful and tasty. Definitely hit the spot. This is a Peruvian place but they do Mexican food really well.
