The Raven Tavern has quite a few vegetarian menu offerings. I got the veggie pie. The garlic in the mashed potatoes shone through the other flavors. The curry gravy was excellent. Just the right amount of spice.
Everything was great as usual but I was a little disappointed in the happy hour chicken skewers. In the past it was more like a chicken tender or satay stick but this time the chicken was cut up cubes. IMHO It wasnât as good as before. Other than that. Everything was great
This place was amazing! I live in Los Angeles but my mom and brother live in Port Hueneme. For years, we've always had a hard time finding a place to go eat where we would all find something we like. I can't believe they never suggested this place before. Recently we were debating over places and my brother said well. How about The Raven? Doubtful, I looked it up. There were seven of us, so I knew it was going to be difficult to satisfy all of us. And I saw that the menu had something that everybody would like, even me, the vegetarian. But it wasn't just that there was something for everyone, it was that everyone really loved their food! We were all so happy.I would love to tell you all that the ambience inside is wonderful too, but I can't. Only because we ate outside right above the water, and that ambience was amazing! We all had such a wonderful time.The Raven didn't just give us dinner, they gave us a night we will remember.
We had a great time and the food was excellent. Unfortunately, we were not expecting a live band. The band was not loud, for a live band, but it made conversation challenging. Next time we will pay closer attention to the live music schedule.
$24 for a small Cadillac Margarita?!! And during Happy Hour?! Ridiculous.

They have a good variety of food choices and very good sized portions. It is comfortable and the tables are not crowded. Very nice.
A very good place for a casual dinner with the pub food very good. I like the Bangers and Mash, and the Shepard's Pie for dinner. They have excellent Onion Rings, too! Friendly servers and a nice atmosphere.
