I love the tacos and shrimp Cocktel. Way better than the saviers one.. But why if you place a phone order you have to wait in long long line to pay and pick up your food.. I asked the cashier why they did not have a extra cash register and she said they had entioned owner they needed one.. so owner step it up. You charge a little more than 2 per taco.. time to get an extra register. It will help your business..
El Tapatio makes some of the best Mexican food in Oxnard, and that is saying something. The competition is extremely stiff in that city as there must be nearly 100 Taco Stands and Mexican food restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is not so appealing as it sits in a strip mall next to the airport, but the food is to die for. Authentic, delicious, and with zip. Highly recommended.
#1 taqueria in Oxnard. This taqueria has been the best in Oxnard for at least twenty years. Anytime someone asks where they can eat the best food in oxnard I send them to this location (tapatio by the Oxnard airport) at times the lines go out the door that means they are obviously doing something right. I guarantee you it's worth the wait every single time. The tacos and the burritos are absolutely delicious. I have a lot of friends and family that live out of state and the first thing they want to eat when they visit Oxnard is taqueria el tapatio. They only take cash but they have an ATM near the entrance.
Like I remember good comparing apples to apples, this place fir 20.00 I got seafood koctael & 2 Carne aside tacos & more I got a big melon ? guys that's good power lunch.
On Taco Tuesday I had a Pastor and Lengua taco. Both were great! The only issue is it's cash only.
I hate the fact that they don't take card BUT I just can't seem to find better tacos anywhere else. I love eating tacos from this location.
