The freshness of the salmon and how well it was cooked, were pleasant surprises (even for a seafood place by the water).The friendly service, quality of food, and waterfront view were all very enjoyable. Prices were reasonable for local seafood. The establishment was well-kept, spotlessly clean, and frequently sanitized by staff.Having so many options on just the condensed menu made ordering time-consuming.
Casual, friendly fresh fish grill and bar. Large portions for a very reasonable price. We enjoyed our simply, but deliciously prepared grilled seabass and salmon, accompanied with decadent mashed potatoes and fresh Cole slaw. Counter service. Nice bay views included.
The cashier told us everything on the menu would be good - and she was right! We ordered the fish & shrimp combo, the fish and chips, a side of clay chowder, and their buffalo wings, and they delivered excellently! It works like a fast food place with a buzzer when your meal is ready to pick up at the counter. But everything was delicious, including the coleslaw and all the sauces. We will be coming back for sure!
The food here is very good! Packed full of flavor and cooked to perfection. My wife order the fish and chips. I had the clam chowder and captains special which is three pieces of fried fish and five pieces of fried shrimp. The breading was so light and not greasy. As I took my first bites it all just melted in my mouth and instantly put a smile on my face. The clam chowder was so tasty and smooth. My wife and I have instantly fallen in love with this place. We cannot wait to come back.
Fun casual place. Bartender and staff are super friendly. Food is ok. Clam chowder is really good though... We always grab a bite here after renting from the Channel Islands Kayaking Center next door...
We had clams, soup, and salad for lunch. They were delicious and they use quality ingredients.There are great selections of outdoor and indoor seating areas with great view of the water.
Went here for lunch. Definitely enjoyed my visit. Very relaxing atmosphere and the person behind the bar (I believe her name was Gwen I hope I am right) was very cool to talk too. I ordered the fish and chips and the fried calamari. The fish was very fresh as well as crispy. The calamari was good as well. I plan on stopping back for lunch more often when I get a chance.
I always order the blackened grilled fish tacos and they never disappoint! This time we decided to add a bowl of clam chowder, while the flavor was not bad, it was a bit dark and greasy on the top. I love the place a d will continue to go, just won't be ordering the claim chowder.
The restaurant backs to a channel, nice view, nothing fancy, just good food, nice people. My husband an I ordered the steamed clams and mussels as well as a bucket of fried shrimp and a bowl of seafood chowder. The shrimp was our favorite although it was all good. The shrimp was more like a tempura batter and had a nice old bay spice seasoning. Really good seafood chowder great flavor. Plenty of clams, the description claimed salmon and scallops... they might have been in someone else's bowl. Still very flavorful. Good prices for good seafood. We will go again when in town.
This place is fantastic! Their fish n' chips was outstanding. The staff here is very friendly, service was excellent. Inside and outside dining & a bar. I can't wait to go back. The views of the Channel Islands Harbor were great. Excellent place to take a date. Their prices were very reasonable.
