Craving seafood this past week so I cured this my phoning the Oxnard Red Lobster placing a to go order for the Admirals Feast and headed out the door. It was ready as I walked in their door, I paid n walked back out. At home, I thoroughly enjoyed every bite for dinner, for a late nite snack and again the next day. The scallops made me drool, the shrimp crunchy delicious, the fish was tender and the clams make me want to place an order everyweek. So did their delicious biscuits. Now the question is...can I wait a whole week??? And maybe...Should try a different Feast???
Good food, good celebration and service. A few delays in running plates from the kitchen, but overall a good birthday dinner. Would be nice if they did a refresh on the interior though.

To start off, our server Cindy was great. She was very sweet and was quick to fix the issue we ran in to. I ordered from the "3 from the sea" menu. I ordered the Caesar salad, crispy coconut shrimp, and the Atlantic salmon with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. All which were pretty good. Aside from my salmon dish we also ordered two main lobster tails and was slightly disappointed in the quality check before leaving the kitchen. One tail was perfect and delicious. The other was shriveled up, brownish colored, and had a bad smell to it. However, they were quick to replace it with a new one. Overall it wasn't a bad experience and I still enjoyed my dish aside from the lobster tail issue.
Overall experience and service was good. Waited 5-10 min for seating. Plenty of seating available, still not sure why anyone had to wait to be seated. We ordered the lobster artichoke dip, shrimp trio, and lobster dinner.I know it is normal to have conversations during your meal but never as loud as the conversation at the booth right next to us. It was loud enough that we felt like we were actually sitting in that same booth with them and we had known each other a while.
They were very short staffed on the day I went (only 2 servers for the entire restaurant). But to balance it out and not overwork the servers, they made customers wait until seating them. Plenty of open tables, but definitely understand why. Well managed! Staff was obviously overwhelmed, yet they were still so friendly and efficient.Food is great! Portions are very big. Be careful not to over-order. Great place to go with a group and try different things.
We reserved on open table but when we got there we were told that it’s not a reservation but it just informs the staff your coming. She said it would be a 15 min wait. They had many parties waiting but also had many empty tables. Some of the other parties waiting had checked in on the red lobster waitlist and placed themselves in line. They were seated before us even though they arrived and checked in with the hostess after us. After a 40 min wait we were seated. The portions were ridiculously small and salty. They used to have a selection that you created with different fish options and scallops for those that can only eat certain fish. That is no longer available. The salad was incredibly small. It just was very disappointing. Next time we will just go to red lobster. Where they honor the reservation on open table. Plus they have a sign that says they take precautions for your safety and everyone and the hostess was not wearing a mask. Very contradictory. She was very unhelpful to the customer and people coming in to pick up orders.

Food was great. Love the new menu... but Daney helped us and has the most incredible customer service. Literally never had that level of service here before. She is incredible. Thank you. I felt like we were just talking to an old friend which is really refreshing especially in these tough times.
Food was good, server was friendly, but my drink did not appear to have alcohol as I ordered., Still it was flavorful.
