I took my family out to eat on a Sunday afternoon. We wanted to try a New place. We were disappointed the ranch was charged separately. We ordered two large pizzas, mozzarella sticks and potatoe wedges and received only ranch for the wedges. Gotta say we rather drive the extra mile and go to Toppers on the next one where ranch is bottomless.
I’ve seen these around Ventura County and wanted to give it a try. Plus, I liked the C3 Corvette I’ve seen driving around Moorpark.I ordered two slices of cheese pizza. The nice lady up front told me it would take 15 minutes and it came out in about that time. I took my pizza back to work and started eating it. This has to be the grossest pizza I’ve ever tasted in my life. The pizza was burnt and rubbery while also lacking any sort of flavor. I don’t know what kind of pizza place this is, but they sure don’t know how to make pizza. Chuck E. Cheese and Dominoes blow this place away and that’s saying something.Pizza is something that is hard to do well, but extremely difficult to screw up. I’ve had hundreds of pizzas in my lifetime and this one takes the cake as the absolute worst. I don’t know how this place is still in business let alone multiple locations, but I guess people here in Ventura County are willing to pay money to eat junk.Avoid this chain, especially this location, if you are with kids. This location is also a nightclub and it does not feel like a family environment even in the day. I’ve read comments from other reviewers saying that the nightclub people started harassing them as they were finishing their meal. Not somewhere to go with kids. All in all, if you want pizza go spend your money at Toppers. They have delicious pizza and salad bar and they have a great environment for kids.
Went to see a live band here. Loads of dance space, great sound, and. I always love their gluten free pizza.
Dan I love you and your places but I have to be very blunt, this particular one wasn't up to your normal par. You normally have a fabulous salad bar, this one had fruit flies all over everything. The waiter was cordial but outside smoking and on his phone on this not so busy day - maybe he had a family issue or something, he appeared friendly and was not rude in any way, just busy doing whatever. And he seemed absent minded. He didn't pay attention to pan pizza request and gave me a thin crust, did not check on us at the table. Over all the location is nice. The place was very clean, it's a sporty kind of bar restaurant pizza joint that you can order from your own table via an internet so it is very modern. I just had an issue with the salad bar and lack of getting my order right. So instead of 5 stars like you should be getting I have to give 4 until I go again and things are different. Sorry. And I do mean usually everything you're running is usually 5 stars and beyond.
I really like their pizza. They have gluten free and which is important for me. Pizza man Dan provides lots of coupons that are food you would like to eat
My boyfriend and I went to this place for a dinner date and man, was I disappointed!!!! They totally got our order wrong and when we notified the girl in the front which she was the only one sweet to us everyone was very very rude that we complain! So the “OWNER” of the place came and spoke to us and first off “SIR” stop drinking on the job and fix the problem that’s all we wanted to happen but he continued to argue that it was our fault the order was wrong saying that is what we ordered and no I’m not the one drunk! I know exactly what we ordered but yet he continued to argue and blame us for the order being wrong!!! We demanded for our money back which we did but oh boy did he not like that one bit!!! Shoot he owes us stars for going to that location! Save your money everyone and just go to Toppers
Our experience wasn’t the best. We loved the wings. Pizza was over cooked. Dealt with Knats/flies entire time. Staff wasn’t friendly at all

So shocked at my visit today! We love Dan the Man Pizza! My daughter lives here in Ventura County I live in San Diego. We order from you very often. I had your philly cheese sandwich about 3 months ago and it was so good I decided to order it for my husband who was visiting this time. I was so embarrassed! There was so little meat in each of those sandwiches I quickly took all the meat out of mine and put it in my husband's. So it would look like the sandwich that I thought I had a few months ago. Seriously! I have to order a second scoop of meat in order for it to be a good sandwich? That don't seem right!!!
