I had high hopes for this place as this was my first time trying it. I place an order for takeout and ordered the fried calamari strips and the scallops and chips. I substituted the coleslaw for their clam chowder.The clam chowder and fries we’re good. However the calamari was extremely tough it had a rubber like a texture. The scallops didn’t seem fully fried or moisture had gotten to them after being fried. I picked up the order 10 minutes after placing it so I don’t think it was the latter.Some of the meal was good but most of it was disappointing. The employees are very friendly I may give this place another try.
My wife and I visit regularly when I want fresh grilled fish . The service is always friendly, helpful and patient. While there are other seafood restaurants we patronize, only Hook Line and Sinker Seafood has a display case of their fresh fish. After noticing the fish in the display, the choice is easy simply. I order the special on the chalk board. My only criticism is that Hook, Line and Sinker consider adding variety to the side dish menu.
Great food and service! My husbands fav is the clam chowder sourdough bowl and my kids love the kids meals that come in a boat, so cute! Definitely one of our top spots to eat.
Usually a good place to get good sea food. Today's visit was not the best. The fried fish didnt have much of a taste to it. The batter could have been seasoned a bit more. But it was cooked perfectly. Nice and crispy. The coconut shrimp were way over cooked, almost burnt, which made the shrimp rubbery. The 1st shrimp tasted a bit fishy. I was able to taste it before it even got to my mouth, which was off putting. The chowder was very good, as was the potato salad. The coleslaw was just okay. The shrimp skewers were cooked nicely and tasted pretty good. Prices are reasonable and the staff are always friendly.
I went in to buy fresh fish from their fish counter. I bought the local halibut and it was the best ever. Fresh, clean and 100% eatable, no waste. Kudos to whoever processed this fish!! Definitely the best place to buy fresh fish.Shop small businesses!
Been going here for years and the food and service is always great! Never disappointed! Local owned is another plus!

Fish tasted off a little. Like you tasted little more natter than fish.. Did not like the coconut shrimp. Slightly over cooked.. Fish for the fish and chips. Fish was a little pink in the middle. Not all the way white.
Over priced for the quality and there wasn't any gluten free options. As many here know, I have celiac disease, so a gluten-free menu is paramount. That aside, the quality to dollar value needs improvement.
I sat outside and enjoyed the delicious very fresh fish and chips which came with a small side of coleslaw. They have a lot of seafood choices on their menu. Fast service and nice staff.
