I have such mixed feelings about this place... On the one hand, the coffee is consistently good, and the location is wonderful. We love dropping by for a cup to go before walking around the marina.On the other hand, all of the food since the cafe was bought in roughly 2020 has become absolutely horrible. The most popular sandwich they used to have, "the runny egg sandwich", was pulled off the menu for reasons I can't fathom. The Avocado toast we had was a piece of plain bread with a weird layer of avocado mayo smeared across. The quesadilla is not a quesadilla at all! If you can figure out how to eat the thing please let me know because I could barely keep my hands on the greasy monstrosity for a few seconds before giving up.Great place, but please completely overhaul the food menu from the ground up.
I ordered a hot lavender latte and a honey biscuit. My friend got some honey latte and some spicy mango sorbet thing. I loved our drinks. My lavender latte was so good! My friend's latte was really good too! My honey biscuit was more just like a biscuit than anything. Nothing too honey about it. The mango sorbet was good, but it's spice killed once it hit the back of your throat. I probably wouldn't order that again, but it was a cool idea! Overall, I loved my drinks!
We tried the amazing unique delicious Plum Mocha! Also sampled the unusual flavors of ice creams, such as Jasmine Plum, Thai Tea, Green tea almond ice cream, wow.Warm and friendly service. The environment is relaxing with great atmosphere located in the Channel Island Harbor Marina in Oxnard.
Honey Cup Cafe provides decently good coffees for decent prices. However their food (specifically the breakfast burrito) is lacking. Food looked old and quickly prepared unfortunately. Better places in the area.
Great place! I just wish they offered ceramic mugs for those of us who sit outside in their beautiful patio.
First time here and definitely going back. Staff was very polite and helpful. We tried a Lavender Lemonade with honey omg it was so delicious ?. And a Maple Latte with oat milk also delicious. We got to try there grilled cheese and avocado toast while there. Everything tasted amazing. I'm craving it all again as I write this lol.
Very clean, and the staff is lovely. I was in town for a funeral and visited every day of my trip— the staff remembered my name and were quick to give excellent recommendations. They have a list of specialty drinks including a Maple Cinnamon Latte, White Jasmine Plum Mocha, Lavender Latte, and Honey Latte—I tried a number of them, and none of them were a disappointment. The Rosemary Vanilla latte is one of the most uniquely delicious coffees I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. We also ordered a "duffin" (a donut baked in a muffin pan (or a muffin baked in a donut pan???)) that was an absolute dream, and a chocolate espresso cookie that was as big as my face. The prices are good for such a quality experience. I wish I lived here just so I could come here every day. I love you Honey Cup
This place is awesome!! The area it’s in is so beautiful and it’s usually pretty peaceful. The staff is always kind and upbeat, which elevates the entire experience so much!!Their coffee is freaking amazing!!! They have some original drinks that are fabulous, I love the white jasmine latte, and a lot of my friends like the honey latte and lavender latte.I’ve also had the banana bread and the egg-cellent croissant which are both delicious.Do yourself a favor and come here. I can assure you that you won’t regret it!
