My grandfather took my dad who took us who took ours kids and they take theirs. Since 1934 my family has eaten there. Had it Saturday and was such a disappointment. Fried rice was crunchy, peas chow yuk, No Peas! BBQ ribs were raw. Fried shrimp was over cooked and orange chicken was crunchy and dry. Sweet sauce for ribs and shrimp lumpy and was not the same. They had been a staple in our family as I’m sure it is for others but they have lost us as customers. New owners? Even chow mien was watery?? Heartbroken it’s not the same.

So we finally decided to give the new owners a 2nd chance, the food today just made us miss the old owners so much more ? we were Disappointed again! The ribs were horrible and fatty , the sweet and sour pork was rubbery and the almond Chicken was just plain awful with like 40% onions. We were hoping they had improved but they somehow got worse. Golden chicken inn used to be our go to spot since the 70s but it's sad to say this will be our last time having it, not only has there food gotten bad their prices have gone through the roof.
Man it took forever to find an authentic tasting fried rice...and no peas or carrots added whew..order inside and took it home and I tell you awesome. I'll only order from these guys hands down. However I've been calling to order and no answer hopefully they didn't close down

Extremely disappointed. The chicken chow mein with soft noodles was palatable. It lacked flavor, but was okay. Spring rolls were good. The wonton soup was absolutely horrific and unedible. There was absolutely no chicken stock in there, it looked as if they poured hot water over stale tasting wontons. I was unable to eat this and had to discard it. Waste of money for overpriced food. It's a shame because the young man behind the counter was super nice. Will not be back.
Not as good as original owners, but it good food and great service
It use to be 1of my favorites, but its horrible that 4times I've had ts not been good ,order on march 9,2021 ,for lunch it taste old like a week old.
So good!! I was a little worried because of some of the reviews and I was trying it for the first time as a door dash delivery, but I'm so glad I didn't let them stop me. I'll definitely be ordering again. It's hard to find quality Chinese delivery, but this place was a hit for us. Maybe it's just different tastes.
