Maaaan !!..this place has been around for a long time and is a staple in my family and for the Oxnard community...it's historic and legendary...I remember coming here as a kid with my mom...she always loves there fish sandwich...and I love the way the mustard goes well with the chili...thank you for the consistency...THANK YOU BUDDY BURGERS...CHIQUES.!!!.805.!!!.
Buddy Burgers ? ? been there for a long time and I remember it was called Wimpy's if I'm wrong but I know for a fact they make very good delicious hamburgers ? and I love going there since 1984 everything on the menu is really good ?
The burgers are small but very tasty, and have been for 40 years I've been going. The fries are the stars of the meal. Crunchy tasty the best!!On the downside, the area has really gotten sketchy. But I'll come back if I'm in the area.

30 years ago my mom used to walk my brother here to have a special lunch when we could afford it. I recently moved back to California and mom came to visit me. The first place my brother asked that we go was Buddy Burgers. Mom didn't remember much of the town, as it's grown, but she knew exactly were Buddy' was. The food was amazing and I can't wait to introduce my friends and family as they visit.
The burger was juicy, the onion rings were crispy, and the jamaica was delicious. Definitely a good hole in the wall if we lived in Cali, this would be the SPOT!
