Really like this place and have been there numerous times. Would be a 5 star review but they recently raised their prices and it's not quite as good as it used to be. Still highly recommend trying it out if your around the area.
This place has some serious quality. They staff have a very traditional feeling. The sushi is also great quality. Very fresh fish. The wait can take a long time on a Friday evening. Try to get a window seat facing the water. Very nice environment, close to the beach. Cool outside amphitheater overlooking the water with nice parks and scenery nearby. A+ good job!
No reservations, but the wait isn't bad if you go early enough. The oyster shooters are good. The salmon and orange sashimi is youumy.
Just for credit card user awareness..I don't like it when restaurants skew their tip selection on the Ipad vs the actual bill tipping suggestion. Take a look at your tip suggestions vs the Ipad reading if you pay with card. A lot of restaurants started to this recently. Food is good though.
Food is tasty as always. However, the update is for a recent experience. We were missing a $17 roll(Couldn't check before leaving because bags were tied tightly,) Called back when we got home and saw the lack of $17 goodness and after being suggested that I was lying(even after leaving a 20% tip,) the offer for a remake for pickup 30 minutes later wasn't worth it. Can't complain about the food, just caution to people picking up orders to check your food before you leave the store/lot.
Still my favorite spot to get sushi. The selection is amazing, the staff is on top of their tables, the staff always says “thank you” and “goodbye” and it’s always very clean. I just love ❤️ Anaba.Wish I took a picture of my plates because everything is as good as it looks. Highly recommend.
Fantastic Japanese Restaurant. Unique sushi rolls and appetizers. Teriyaki and tempura. Everything delicious ?. Fantastic service. Great atmosphere- some harbor views. We have dined Japanese restaurants all over California. This is the best.
Great food and everything but recently they only offer expensive bottled water. I don't mind paying for tasty, good quality sushi, but the pricy bottled water with no regular tap water as an option is a real discouragement to going there. Hopefully they'll let us bring our own?
Just had here banana tempura ice cream ? which was awesome.
Very nice small sushi place right next to fish market , and let me tell you food was fresh , amazing and delicious , no wonder it's on wright spot ??????? ?
