We came here for a nice Father's Day brunch. Even though it was very busy, we got seated immediately which was nice. Our waitress was kind and gave us great service. Unfortunately, the Steak & Eggs dish I ordered was a disappointment. The steak was very hard to cut and very chewy. Thankfully, I was able to select something else. They were able to get my omlette out very fast. Also, my father's dish took a while to be brought to the table as well. I know when restaurants are busy, mistakes can happen sometimes. Overall, we had a good time.
Sammy's has been around for a while now and it used to be IHOP same ownersThis is a family owned business and the Mom has always treated everyone like family especially the babies. She treats them as if they were her own grandbabies. The breakfast is always delicious but prices have gone up a little bit. I would still recommend this place for a nice home feel meal.
I took my wife here and we both loved this place. The country potatoes are great and very delicious. We made it official that this is one of our favorite breakfast spots to eat at. Thank you Sammy!?
This place was perfect. I came here with my significant other and we enjoyed the food. The staff is friendly, especially the owner, and the atmosphere is nice (50s diner vibe). Their breakfast was so good. We ordered steak & eggs plate and my partner ordered a bacon, ham, sausage, and eggs plate. They also ordered pancakes which were so fluffy and they taste amazing with boysenberry syrup. I personally recommend this place to you buddy.
Yummy yummy! The food quality, as wel as the quantity, is really good! Great service, friendly staff, love the diner feel to the place! Definitely going to be a regular here! I love that they have a whole crepes section on the menu as well! So good!
Nice breakfast, lunch, and dinner restaurant.We stopped for breakfast. The staples (eggs, bacon, sausage) are delicious. The hash browns are of generous size and quite good too.The French toast though, fell a little flat and weren't all that good. The bread itself felt dry or old. Felt like chewing on mush. Kinda eish I would have tried the pancakes.Overall staff is friendly, prices are average, and wait wasn't bad.
I'm so disappointed! I wasted $15 for my breakfast. Hashbrowns were so bad, I couldn't eat them. My daughter's scrambled eggs were fake eggs. The hollandaise sauce was salty and oily. The service was very bad. Coffee is $4 and she forgot to refill it till the end of the meal right before we were leaving so I only had one small cup. I don't recommend this place.
Great service. Great chicken and good waffles. If you dont want to dine in you can always do take out and food is still great ?
In my opinion this is the worst restaurant in orange county. the bacon was old, the crepes burned, and the strawberry jam was sour and smelly so bad. if you like to enjoy a good breakfast I don't recommend this place.
Wow, this place was awesome! My new favorite breakfast place hands down! Everything we ordered was delicious! Plus they play oldies but goodies which I loved! A+++++
