Drinks: had the weekly special blue agave and the jalapeno margaritas. Both taste like they're supposed to, nothing extra but nothing missing.I ordered lunch express chicken fajitas. Never seen tomato in fajita veggies at a good restaurant so that was disappointing. The beans tasted too much like larde for me, lacked salt or paprika.Their guac smelt like mangos and tastes bland. I think everything is lacking in salt.

Restaurant was a bit crowded, no waiting time to be seated. Service is fast, food was good. They have a big bar area if you are looking to have a drink only!Parking is big, and very accessible to get out. Overall was a great experience dining here.

Fantastic food. This place give generous portions and I haven't had a bad thing on the menu. The wait staff is always super friendly and nice. And they always keep the chips and salsa flowing. A lot of locals go here all the time. And I've heard them call people by first name basis. I know go here at that much cuz I don't live in the area anymore. But if I did live in the area I would go there all the time.

This place has really increased their prices!?! And the food quality and presentation is bad. It's definitely gone downhill. The service was really good the decor for Easter was beautiful. You are going to lose longtime loyal customers with prices this high. Best way to increase prices is with liquor. My $20 margarita was served in the same glass as you would serve a soft drink or water.Seriously, look at what you are charging for Chimichangitas! The chips and salsa are still very good.

Arrived there shortly after they opened so wasn't crowded - wanted to be the Valentine crowd. Food was good

What a wonderful restaurant and MOST DELICIOUS FOOD!!!salsa and chips they welcome you and they are complimentary ARE TO DIE FOR ! Best chips and salsa ever.we love coming here!

I've been here a few times and I'm just not a fan of the food. I know some people love this chain but for me it always seems meh. The food could use more seasoning as everything tastes a little bland and dry. The rice was ok but my my steak was really watery. The Chile Colorado was pretty dry and tasted as if the meat wasn't seasoned at all before it was pit in the sauce. The server was very nice and the atmosphere is good, I'm just not into the food here.

We love Rodrigo's! The food is excellent, especially the Rigo's Special (beef flautas) and the chimichangitas. Their staff is so friendly. They are always smiling and ready to make us feel at home. I know people who have been going for years because of the food and service. Great place to eat!

Really disappointing fajitas. Obviously made hours in advance. The cast iron skillet was sizzling but the food was barely even warm. Pico de gallo had obviously been sitting around for hours or maybe days. The chips were stale and the tortillas tasted old. The Margaritas were excellent and our server was really trying.

My family has been long-time patrons of Ricardo’s/Rodrigo’s for over 30+ years. In all our visits, I’ve never left feeling as disappointed and disrespected as I did last night. On 10/6/21, my family of 5 came for dinner and sat in the bar. When my son (with food allergies) ordered, he’d asked for a kid’s meal bean burrito, no cheese and french fries. Before the server placed his meal at the table, we’d inquired, “no cheese, correct?” where Hector confirmed, “yes, no cheese”. After my son took a couple bites of his burrito, he became nauseous. When I checked his burrito, it in fact had cheese. After brining this to our server attention, he attempted to take the entire plate away from my son. I’d explained he was still hungry so, we working through his nausea by eating the fries. Irritated, he returned with a to-go box to remove the burrito from the plate. Never once did he offer to bring the correct meal, or offer an apology for the discrepancy.Frustrated by his lack of concern for my son’s health and/or inconvenience, I asked for him to have the meal removed from our check. After viewing our check, I was again discouraged to find that we were charged $2.50 for french fries that accompanied the kids meal. When I tried to discuss my concern with the manager, Arturo, I was immediately shut down, saying this was protocol, because my son had eaten some of his food. Despite me trying to explain the food allergy, or the lack of service provided by our server – leaving my son hungry instead of offering to rectify our order, he was unmoved, and unapologetic for all aspects of our visit.Even after I told him about our loyal patronage of 30+ years at this specific restaurant that had never had a problem with my son’s food allergies in the past, he remained as unsympathetic. Instead, he defended his callousness by saying he’s grown up with this organization and never made this sort of accommodation before. When he said, “you can leave now,” I responded with Rafael would’ve never treated us in this fashion. His response is “he’s in Huntington Beach now.”I find it so hard to believe that Rodrigo’s values their $2.50 for french fries more than they do the health or dinning satisfaction of their customers. And although I love your establishment, I’m appalled by how Arturo felt it appropriate to dismiss the errors on behalf of his restaurant and argue in the front lobby over something so simplistic that he could’ve made right by supplying the correct order, or removing the $2.50 from our bill.Very, very disappointing to say the least,
