Thank you Renee and Pepe for the most delicious and fresh Italian food! We are vegetarian and the salad and entrees were absolutely delicious. They were able to make us a spicy marinara sauce with garlic and green onions-delicious!!!The homemade bread as a starter was yummy, warm, and soft.We also order pesto gnocchi and spicy marinara spinach & cheese ravioli. Delicious!!!
This is the best Italian food restaurant I've ever been to. Great, delicious food!! I'm very happy I came to eat here. I recommend Mascarpones restaurant if you like real Italian food.
This is an intimate family owned restaurant. The bread is grilled and delicious. The house salad is delicious with their homemade blue cheese dressing. I had the salmon special with great sauce. My friend has the veal piccata and it’s sauce was also delicious. We tried the coconut pineapple cheese cake which sounds weird but was super light and yummy. We’ll be back next time we’re in the area. Excellent.
I love supporting small family owned businesses like this restaurant. The food and service truly show care and quality. This is a hidden gem in our neighborhood. I hope my sharing will bring more customers. I plan to come back here regularly with my family and tell my friends about this little gem!

Fabulous Family traditional Italian Food.Service great, garlic bread amazing, cheesecake OMG one slice feeds 3-4 still talking about over a week ago. Lasagna was excellent.Small quaint restaurant.
The chef never tasted his own food! The buffalo mozzarella cheese on the Insalata Caprese is so hard, not fresh! The blue cheese dressing for the salad was bitter. Pasta Party blue cheese dressing tastes 200% way better! The aglio olio shrimp scampi, it tastes strange. I really thought it’s an authentic family own Italian restaurant, very disappointed! Really not recommended!!
Sorry, we were enjoying the food and the company so much, we did not take pictures. All I can say is ... WOW! True authentic Italian cuisine that hits Orange County. Very Light and Organic. We definitely have to come back to try different dishes. I had the Lasagna. Best ever! The Cheese cake! Damn. I'm still speechless and we got the original with berry sauce, whipped cream topped with chocolate shavings. The hubby couldn't get enough. Tiramisu another decadant treat. Everything from scratch and you can tell made from the heart. Definitely will come back again.
We've been coming here since the early 1990s. Since day one, Pepe has perpetually delivered high quality Italian fare (and a hint of Spanish) with great service at a high mid-range price. As in: it's not inexpensive, but you definitely get what you pay for.Mascarpone's has never wavered or offered anything less than an exceptional dining experience.
First, skipping the dessert here would be a mistake. The food and wine here is always exceptional. Appetizers, meals, desserts and wine are a must order every time I eat here. (That's what to go bags are for after all.) Leftovers are a delight because you can relive the 1st bite from the night before.I recently attended when I had some severe dietary restrictions and they accommodated me. I truly appreciated that.
