Very mid poke. Small portion and overly salty sauce. Good variety but that's about it. Haven't tried their rolls.
I love to come here anytime of the day lunch or dinner. My favorite items here are the poki bowl and sushi rolls. I'm thankful I live just down the street so I can always frequent this place as often as possible. The sauces the use for the poki bowls are quite delicious and I've never ever had a bad experience with service or food quality. The fish is always fresh and you can always count on me ordering salmon and yellowtail for either bowl or sushi.
The owner was so nice, I love Asian people
The portions were tiny compared to other poke places, and I swear I saw one my scoops of salmon stay stuck to the scooper and not actually go into the bowl. I was also missing my spicy tuna, so that must have happened with that too and I didn’t notice. Overall underwhelming experience compared to how the other reviews seemed. The bowl had about as much as a small bowl elsewhere for one that was supposed to be large and with extra protein
3.5 stars if I could.Did they forget my dressing or did they give me just a little? Ordered a regular with salad. Which is mixed greens. They used to fill the mixed greens to the top of the bowl. Now you get about a cup's worth. Fish was fresh. Tasted okay but I was bot thrilled with my purchase like I usually am. There was a woman watching very closely as if to make sure the poki bowl preparer did not put on one extra littie piece of green onion in my bowl. The atmosphere was VERY TENSE even though the woman was wearing a customer service smile. She struggled to look at me and the poki bowl preparer at the same time. I couldn't get out of there quick enough. If I see her there next time, I won't go in. Ugh.I understand that they can't be giving out heaping spoonfuls of fish, but come on, give more than a half a bite of some of the other goodies please.
Best Poke in Orange! Found this place through a friend and it is the most authentic delicious poke in all of Orange. The fish is super fresh and the portion size is absolutely perfect! You have to check this place out it is truly a hidden gem of Orange!
Best poke in OC. Owners are courteous and professional.
First time....Google found it for me and was on point with the recommendation and the reviews were helpful with everyone loving it. Definitely going back, delicious, delicious ?
I was happy to find a highly reviewed poke spot near our home. We typically go to Poke District that is farther down the street, but wanted to give this place a shot. They have a decent amount of fish/seafood assortment and the small bowl comes with 3 scoops of fish. Normally, small bowls only allow two type so the added 3rd was a nice bonus. They have a handful of toppings and all come free unless you want more than what is automatically given to you. I got my fish with sesame shoyu and my husband ordered his with spicy mayo. The sauces were surprisingly flavorful and yummy. The reason why I had to dock a star was their portion. While the small allows you to get 3 scoops, they were incredibly tiny scoops. They did not make up for it in other ways like the freshness of the fish. The tastiness was there, but we feel that other poke places give better quality fish and a better bang for your buck.
Pictured: Large bowl with almost everything on it (no wasabi or ginger)Pros: Free avocado! Good sauce, good fishCons: Seaweed salad costs $1, rice was a little too warm and moist and kinda messed with my fish.Scoops could be a bit more generous. The actual size of the fish cuts are pretty average, leaning on the smaller side. There are other poke places that are a bit more generous with portions when you order a large bowl but this place does not disappoint. Only one scoop of krab + avocado allowed (extra costs $1 per scoop) but it's a generous portion of both so it's not bad. They have other stuff that I did not try but seems promising. Things like sushi, sashimi, and ramen. If you like avocado and don't like seaweed salad, go here.
