My sister took me out to lunch at the Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar in Orange and I really enjoyed the late lunch. Don't be fooled by the funky name of this place as it was busy and the food was really good. I had the BBQ Veggie Burger, which was a vegetarian sandwich. I am a meat eater, but I thought I would take a chance on something different. The sandwich filling was based on black beans, veggies, beets, garlic and a killer sauce. I could not finish the sandwich as it was quite large. Also, the beans made the sandwich a bit heavy. Great tasting food. I guess dogs are allowed as guests since i saw at least 3 dogs while dining. The next table had a Great Dane dining with the family of 4, but he was well mannered and did not cause any drama. Interesting place.
Got a burger from this place and it was delicious! We had a reservation, got there, and we're seated quickly. The food was delicious and portion sizes were great. Kids meals were great and my son loved his order also! Can't go wrong with their menu size either. Plenty of options. Overall this place was amazing and I loved the service, atmosphere, and most importantly the food. Our server was great and on top of drink refills and making sure we didn't need anything else.
I came here to celebrate my pup’s birthday and she very much enjoyed her chicken and white rice bowl.My human friend and I enjoyed some appetizers and libations, and our favorite was definitely the street corn fries. ? The coconut shrimp and sauce were a bit underwhelming, but we definitely enjoyed our drinks.
I've been to a couple different Lazy Dog locations at this point, and they have all been excellent! The patio for this location was very nice. Love the food; this time I had the BBQ Bison Meatloaf, which was delicious. All the elements came together wonderfully: the flavorful, juicy bison wrapped in bacon, the crispy onions, the fluffy mashed potatoes, the variety of vegetables, and the sauce to bring it all together. Definitely will be coming back again and again!
Years ago when this change started here in Orange county, their food was unique and they put some thought into the presentation. Now what I find is that this is just another big chain restaurant. The food is good very good quality and there's great atmosphere but I'm starting to see somewhere and tear in the furnishings and the padding on the seats. We sat in a big table that was meant for six people and there was only three of us in the padding was so bad it made it feel like little kids at a big table. Will I go back? Of course

The Lazy Dog is slowly becoming one of my favorite places to eat. After eating here several times to try out the different dishes, I can safely say that their food is very well priced and deliciously made. The atmosphere is great for a casual dine in restaurant and, if you're wanting to take your dog to a restaurant, you can bring them out onto the balcony.
Went for the first time and it was good. Started off with cheese curds as an appetizer. They were great. I ordered the bbq burger and my wife chicken parm with Alfredo sauce. They both were great. Overall it was a good experience and will come back
