DELICIOUS!!!!!! I was not sure what to expect. I do not eat sushi, but they had other options . Let me just say that this is hands down the best food I have ever had at a Japanese Restaurant! Cucumber salad ✔️ AmazingGarlic Edamame ✔️ Delicious! The chicken Teriyaki bento box , I got it with vegetable tempura ✔️✔️ And I tried their Chicken Udon bowl ✔️✔️✔️ So tasty!!I am usually walking out of a sushi place unsatisfied with my hunger due to the the quality ….. this place has legit quality amazingly tasting food.This is the new destination restaurant for when the husband wants sushi!
Came here for lunch. Had the chirashi bowl. It was good. Fish was very good quality. I also ordered the eel roll. It was sub par. I wish there were more non-sushi options at lunch.Brought the family soon after. Had a nice experience. Ordered the salmon skin salad. It was good and they gave a very generous portion of salmon skin compared to other places. My kids enjoyed the udon.
Came in on a Sunday 4 pm and it was pretty. We're seated right away.Ordered the following:Mixed Tempura 5 piece - this was just fine but honestly was disappointed in the dish. It is not all tempura, only the shrimp piece was. The rest was a mix of fried potato shavings, 2 goyza and an egg roll. Not at all what was described by the name.Both of rolls had too much spicy mayo. Couldn't taste the seafood in either.Heemo Roll - Spicy level 5/10Malibu - Spicy level 4/10Overall it was just fine. If you're craving sushi, this place will help with the fix but it's nothing over the top or unique. Definitely better than grocery store sushi. The price is reflective of the quality of sushi you will get here.The service was good. Wait staff came by often and promptly cleared the table.
Been eating here for the past two years or so on occasion. Large selection of sushi rolls and entrees. It was never great just a decent "Korean" Japanese restaurant. Rolls are overstuffed with imitation crab filler and the quality of fish was/is fresh but tasteless and lacks quality. Fast forward to a recent dining experience, the bento (meal) tempura is now comprised of a single shrimp, two won tons, egg roll and a fried onion cluster which has always been terrible tasting. The lack of real tempura was a surprise and disappointing. Wife and I will not return. Servers have always been excellent.
The food quality was very good. The salmon was very enjoyable and the Sakura roll was tasty. Portion sizes were generous.I would love to see the front of the house staff be a little more attentive especially at lunch when the guest probably needs to eat and get back to the office. Room to improve but still a good solid eating experience.I will be back.

Everything was DELISH!! I think we found a new local favorite. Very generous servings and reasonable prices! Everything tasted fresh and high quality. Had bento lunch with Salmon teriyaki and Grilled Mackerel.
Heemo Sushi found it necessary to automatically add 18% gratuity to my bill( table of 3 , not a large party) then give me a copy to sign with an empty “tip” line. As if to suggest a tip hasn’t been received . If I would’ve had a saki-bomb or two, they surely would’ve received two tips unintentionally. I find it to be Shady business tactics. A word of caution . Food was good .
Hands down best crispy rice in oc. The staff is AMAZING. The staff will also do sake bombs with u if u invite them to. Overall great experience 11/10 would recommend. Also a plus their menu have pictures!!!
