I'd never heard of this place prior to eating here. We scoped out the menu and it looked promising. All 5 of us tried something different from the menu. Unfortunately, we did not like it. I had the chilequiles bowl with chicken, eggs and topped with green sauce. The flavor was off. Mainly due to the sauce that had a strong metallic taste (probably due to the sauce being canned). My wife had the skillet and like my meal it just lacked any flavor whatsoever. One of my kids had the sweet trio. She said the French toast was amazing but that the cinnamon pancake was ruined due to copious amounts of powder cinnamon. My other two children express the same about their plates (biscuits and gravy and breakfast burrito). With so many places to eat in Orange, this place doesn't stand out. However, the staff was super friendly, the place was clean and the service was fantastic!

The food serving staff was very attentive. I was checked up on 5 times, 2 of the 5 was my food server.Food presentation A+ (picture). This restaurant is attentive to the current drought that is affecting California. You must request a glass of water. The men's restroom was very clean, has updated ADA urinal for those who require the use of a wheelchair.

This place was great! I am always hesitant, especially when given that I eat a vegan diet and going to a place like broken yolk gives me some second thoughts. The service was phenomenal, it was clean, the portions were great, not too large nor roo small. The food was very tasty. Only thing is that the potatoes had no flavor, weren't seasoned. However, I will take that any day over something too salty. You could always season yourself.

The food was good but the service was terrible. It took our sever 15 minutes to ask us for drinks and when he did he didn’t bring our drinks. Then another server came and apologized and got us our drink right away. The serve that forgot our drinks avoided our table the whole time. We were never once rude to him or anything. He helped the table before us, skipped us, and then help the table behind us. It happened multiple times. It definitely did not feel good being treated like that.

huge portions. friendly staff

food good, service sucked. waitress took so long to even greet us I thought we were put in a closed section. Paid by their QR code system and she ran out after me claiming i didn't pay then realized i did pay. my mistake for leaving a tip, wish I could take it back. I've been here before but probably not coming back after today.

We went to the Broken Yolk for a breakfast meeting and found the service to be outstanding (my coffee cup was never empty!) and the food was very good. I had the Acai Bowl which came a little slow but still very good.

Employees are very friendly and have great customer service.

Food was delicious, as always. Very friendly, accommodating, and helpful staff, as I had my 5-year old active twin grand daughters with me. Also, the manager went above and beyond to find some black tea for me. It may sound like a minor thing, but having my tea in the morning is akin to others having their coffee. Thank you!!

Tried for the first time and had very disappointing and pathetic experience. Ordered the 'Vegan bowl' a.k.a. 2lbs boiled potato slices with small portion of scrambled vegan egg mixed with few veggies, topped with literally crumbles of vegan sausage. No flavor at all. So many boiled unseasoned potato slices were redundant and a big turn off. Also the presentation was 0/10.
