My family and I were here earlier. We saw 2 employee using their bare hands to handle the FISH waffle with their hands. Although its bot for a costumer but for themselves this is still not a good sanitary practice. Pls train employees properly.Ps: we love the food here. Just train better. It is june 22 today.
We loved this place! We got the oreo ice-cream with the upside down cone. The ice-cream was so soft and creamy. The custard filled cone was delicious with every bite! I thought the price was very reasonable for what you get! It's also such a beautiful creation. It's the kind of dessert that is so nice to look at and eat! I highly recommend you try this! We also got the oreo filled treat shaped like a fish. They make it fresh. As you bite into this hot crispy treat I assure you that your mouth will be very happy!
SOMISOMI is an Ice Cream Shop located at Ontario Mills. We came to this place a couple of times. They serve Soft Serve Ice Cream in a cup, AH-BOONG (signature goldfish-shaped waffle cone stuffed with choice of filling & soft serve) and TAIYAKI (Warm fish-shaped waffle filled with choice of filling). They have so many varieties of Ice Cream Flavors like Milk, Matcha, Ube, Chocolate, Cookies’ N Cream and many more. They also have Fillings like Custard, Nutella, Red Bean, Taro, Red Bean & Cream Cheese as well as Oreo Crumbs, Strawberry, Macaron, Graham Crackers, Fruity Pebbles, Rainbow Sprinkles and so much more as Toppings. Their Ice Cream is good, but TAIYAKI is the star of the show without any doubt. And one more thing, the Ice Cream melts very quick therefore the best policy is to stand there and eat the ice cream. Moreover, there’s a Photo Zone in the shop where you can take photos.
Great softserve and the tayaki is amazing
It was a free tasting that got me I went in to look and ended up spending a 6bucks. It was good and enough to save some for later if you were close to home. The counter young man was real nice and helpful. Would go again.

Ice cream is pretty good but the star of the show is definitely the Taiyaki! Definitely get some on the side, they are much better than the ones that are served with the ice cream and are made to order.
I've been looking for soft-served ice cream forever and finally found this place near my house. It's great. They prepare their waffle cones, which look like fish, there in front of you. You can choose what filling goes into the cone (and yes, the cone has a filling!). I tried their Nutella filling. You can never go wrong with chocolate! Anyways, they serve the icecream in cup or in cup with cone on top (upside-down). The ice cream is great but you gotta be careful because it melts very quickly and you can easily make a mess. The best policy is to stand there and eat your ice cream! I recommend this place and I will definitely stop by again. By the way! There is a wall in the shop where you can take pictures. It's pretty cool. ? ? ? ?
Sooo yummy!! Wished the had more locations. The man serving me gave me an extra because the fish part was cold, such great service!!! ?
