Mery and myself have grown up on dining at a favorite restaurant known as sizzler. But during the pandemic lockdown all of there locations closed and subsequently went out of business so that’s why we were totally surprised and happy to find out that the local Sizzler in Ontario off the 60 freeway in Mountain Avenue was opened for business! ?? The restaurant has been there for ages but the new owners gave the place a much needed facelift and it looks New inside and out. The place is clean and we were helped by our waiter “Freddy” he was awesome the General manager also stopped by our table to ask how our experience was and we were very happy. ?? all of the employees are very friendly and helpful. Salad Bar was fully stocked and clean. Our food arrived hot and tasted great. If you remember going to “Sizzler “ as a kid and enjoyed it this place brings back great memories. Definitely will continue to come back to this location.
Sizzler. What can I say? This is a Southern Cali staple of you ask me.I haven't been to Sizzler in about 4 years. Most of them are gone, so they are far and few between, but I saw one open and was craving to go.I noticed the menu has been updated a bit. Great to see some new adďitions, but again, they may have been there all along and I just didn't notice because my favorite is the Malibu Chicken. Yep, ordered that! Yep, it was yummy, just like I remember. The baked potato, excellent, just like I remember, yummy. The cheese toast was good, but it's been better. A little too soft and kinda soggy for me.Our server Freddy, I believe that's his name, was wonderful. He was accommodating, friendly and just all around genuinely a nice person.We will be back!!
Boyfriend took me Mothers Day morning and we had a great experience, food was fresh and delicious. Manager Paulette came to our table and spoke with us for a few minutes out of her busy day. Would highly recommend to eat here, as we recently moved into the area and this is such a nice, clean restaurant. 5 Stars all the way across the board!!
Wow this was a great place to come back to ?! Service was exceptional. Food was hot and prepared as ordered. Substantial choices at the salad bar. Smaller plates available include steak, side, and 1 trip to the salad bar. The cheese bread also included. Bathrooms were remodeled very nicely but the mess on the floor took away from how nice it could look. Servers friendly and accommodating. Great value.
Consistently the food is not good here. Ask for a burger cooked medium and end up with a black piece of me with a completely Brown and soggy wet bun. Along with fries that appear to be cooked but are undercooked so most likely the fryer grease is very dirty. The only reason I even got something to eat here after other bad experiences was because my roommate was already getting something. Big mistake on my part.
I haven't been to this sizzler in a few years. It's been remodeled since and it looks great. The service was great and the food was delicious. My dad had the salmon and shrimp and I had the steak and Malibu chicken it was delicious cant wait to come back
The food was so delicious. Came to celebrate our daughter’s birthday and had the best service. Freddie took great are of us. The drinks were always refilled without hesitation. The food for six people, came at the same time. He’s the best.
Nice food selection. Tasty shrimp combo. Love The Malibu Chicken. Server Susana was a friendly and helpful person. Thank you.Came again and Had Karla then she left and Susana took over they were both great Servers and made sure all drinks full and not needing anything. Thanks to all the staff here manager to buss person. All were doing a great job that I observed. ?
If you miss Sizzler this is a good one to go to. It's clean and they have completely remodeled this location. They have chicken nuggets that taste exactly to the ones at McDonald's for the kids. Soups 4 kinds and salad options are decent. The chicken noodle I didn't like was greasey. But over all it was pleasant enough to return. Service was good and fast. Fruit was limited because it's still winter. They also have nachos and tacos.. Spaghetti and meatballs. Potatowedges. Dinner Salad bar is 16.99 which is fair. If people don't think so they shouldn't be dinning out restaurants need to survive.
Hadn't been to a Sizzler's in years. We were happily surprised at how efficient and thorough the staff was to to our needs and cleaning off tables of empty plates. Food was OK. Salad and soup bar were fantastic.We'll most likely be going again based on this visit.
