When you see all the giant pickup trucks in the drive thru and all the big guys standing in line on the sidewalk, you know about all you need to know about Juanita's. You wouldn't call it health food or come here for a salad, but the tacos, nachos, and burritos are everything you want.Most people surveyed while I waited said everything is good and you can't order wrong, a good sign for any place. Their house made flour tortillas are as good as advertised. Beans are great here. Salsa is ok. The pork original rojo tasted like can of tomato sauce, but the green Chile Verde was better. Crispy tacos are yum, but don't travel as well. Quesadilla is good but greasy. While you're there order an extra bean and cheese burrito for tomorrow.
I ordered a beans and cheese burrito and they gave me a Chile Colorado burrito. They were only doing drive through business no walk ups...I wasn't impressed. Maybe I'll give it another try sometime.
No more walk up to order is pretty bad, line can get pretty backed up and people don't know how to drive let alone pull up and wait in a driver thru. Food came out quick and was as tasty as its ever been. If they open up the front I'll change my review to 4- 4.5 stars. I asked for sause and napkins and he still didn't put them in the bag so be aware. The drink wasn't even filled near the top. Just be aware but it used to be my favorite white people style mexican food. And used to go out of my way to eat there. Food still good people amd service is meh...
Love their burritos & homemade flour tortillas!
Great authentic Mexican food ? outdoor dining only the lady’s in the kitchen have it down. Prices are still normal ( pre-pandemic) had the combo plate with rice and beans and it was great ? will definitely came back again.
Unfortunately I live waaay too far from one of these Juanita's locations. I will pay someone to give me their red sauce (the Burrito red sauce and their spicy red salsa- 2 different things) recipes. Seriously.
Bean and cheese and Chile Verde burrito are delicious.harina tortillas are home made ,remind me of my grandma's..almost as good as Al and beans in Boyle Heights.
This place would receive 5 stars ? if it was open longer/more often. The chili verde burrito is excellent. They have very good tortillas. Tacos have seem to have shrunk but they are very good. You just have to eat more of them.

Chile Verde burritos are off the chain at Juanita's made with hand made flour tortillas. I love this place!
