Excellent experience at Jikan. Having been to Japan many times it felt (and tasted!) like an authentic experience. I definitely recommend the fatty salmon (sushi, sashini or as part of a makimono roll) to anyone (its also called toro sake). Enjoy!

We were greeted by a very nice young lady who took us to our seat and was also our server. The restaurant is open and airy very comfortable. I ordered a combination plate (bento box) with tempura vegetables and shrimp, rice, soup, salad, egg roll, wonton, California roll and a slice of orange. My friend had a combination plate (bento box) with teriyaki salmon, vegetables, rice, soup, salad, egg roll, wonton, and a slice of orange. The tempura was cooked perfectly as well as the teriyaki salmon. All in all the entire experience was just right couldn’t have been better. I wish I lived closer to this restaurant I would visit it often.

Wow, just wow. This is a must go to place if you are anywhere near Ontario. Amazing food and service! We could not believe how quickly the sushi was delivered and the quality of the sushi and sashimi.Fantastic draft Kirin and hot Sake prices as well.

It have been 4 years since we dined this restaurant and it appears that it changed names and possibly ownership. It was very good as in the past and all was as expected! A lot of good food for the price and will definitely be back! :)

I wouldn't go here. I came here when it first opened several years ago and the quality has gone downhill. Don't go here for sushi or appetizers. Both were not very good. We had the Firecracker which was spicy tuna with wonton chips. The spicy tuna had no flavor. Supposedly it's with tomatoes and red onions. I didn't taste any in the dish. Next appetizer was Ika Gesso lightly fried calamari legs. That dish came out with overcooked, almost burnt pieces. Just looking at it, I don't think whoever made that would even eat it. We had a few rolls as well, Hawaiian and Rainbow. The Hawaiian was good which is the 2 stars I given. The Rainbow was ok. It's not all fish topped on the roll, but also songs pieces had only Avocado on top and not fish. Everytime I order at other sushi places rainbow rolls have all seafood on top. Lastly, I got 2 pieces of bluefin tuna. It had a fishy smell and came out last. Maybe they had it back there awhile and had to defrost it, but it did not taste good at all! Overall, I won't come back or recommend this place.

Food was amazing. Staff was super nice and attentive. Great serving sizes. Can't beat the sake deal. I'm glad this place is around the corner from where I stay at for work because I'll definitely be returning.

What a great traditional Japanese restaurant. The chefs were very nice, staff gave awesome service, the food came out fairly quickly, and everything was reasonably priced and delicious. A plus on presentation too. We will most definitely be coming back for more sushi and sake.

I thought this place was called Jikan, so perhaps the name has changed? We were seeking lighter fare close to the Ontario airport and we saw this restaurant in a strip center. The menu included several different ramen selections, lunch specials, and sushi options you don't see every day, like hamachi toro. We ordered tonkatsu ramen, soy ramen, and the hamachi toro. Our food was full of fresh ingredients, well-prepared, and fast. Just what the doctor ordered! Prices were reasonable for food of this caliber. My only ding on the place was that they played fairly loud pop music combined with loud television. Either one would have been OK, but the combination didn't match the pleasant decor, authentic food, and good service.

Food was good we had different types of sushi and the miso soup. Service was lacking and seemed to be in a hurry and we waited a long time for the check. Other than that there may be a better Japanese cuisine spot nearby.

We called all over and this was the only place that didn't have a wait.....now we know why. First off the the waitress served the drinks with her hand over the rim of the cup where you drink out ofSecond, we were a party of eight and everyone was done eating by the time my daughter got her roll. We asked several times and finally about half anhour after everyone else had got their food she finally got hers. In most circumstances they would offer to take the item off the bill but not here. While sitting there waiting forever for my daughter to get her food I watched the waitress run her hands through her hair, this being the same waitress that served our drinks with her hand on the rim of our cups. I highly doubt the people serving at this restaurant have their food handlers permit. Definitely would not recommend this place. I do have to say that the other waiter was very apologetic that our food took so long.
