My wife and I usually really enjoy Applebee's. First, the service was great. The food at this location was probably the worst I have ever eaten at a restaurant. I had the ribeye 12 Oz steak and my wife, the southwest bowl. The steak was shoe leather and the bowl was ... there are no words. The lady next to us at the bar left her entire plate uneaten and from the look on her face it was obvious why. Sorry guys but you need to find a cook.

There was no one available to seat me, the hostess was MIA. When someone did come they seated several others who had come a while after me, no biggie. The food was not very good, and the service was terrible. The waitress seemed upset that I finally spoke up and said that I had been waiting for a long time to be seated, I wasn't upset but she seemed to take it personally. She also never took my drink order or offered to refill my water. Maybe this was just a one off, but not a very good experience for me
We arrived at the Milliken Ave location, saw plenty of tables but was told by the hostess that the entire place had many staff call off they only had two servers and one cook and our wait would be an hour +... inexcusable. Applebee's is one of my favorite places and couldn't even eat there.
Food and service is great.. came to eat here after the concert around 11:30pm waiter was super nice
I am rather patient. I have compassion and understanding of times when an establishment is short staffed. It happens. Its not the end of the world.However, Sunday evening, my party of 4, walked into the restaurant and were told it was going to be a 45 min wait. I scanned the dinning room, more than half the tables were empty. It was then explained they were short staffed. Ok, no problem. Another party came in and were told they had 60-75 min wait. That sounded odd. But I don't know everything. A few minutes go by and I notice that there are 3 employees standing with the girl who's taking names for the wait list. There was another guy sitting behind them, eating. Then 2 more in the dining room not doing much. The 4 directly in front of me stood talking, laughing, & just showing there was not a care in the world.I was very confused. If you're short staffed, why is there 6 total employees standing around doing NOTHING??? It wasn't a momentary pause while crossing paths with one another. It looked like they had nothing to do and was just joking around to kill time.I would have to say there was no manager in or maybe a very lax manager who shouldn't be in that position, and the employees had no desire but to do that absolute bare minimum, just above not closing the restaurant and going home.Won't be going back ANY time soon.
The portions were pretty big and food was tasty.
Service was beyond amazing. Everyone in my group loved their food. Including the appetizers. Small issue with my food and they went above and beyond to fix it. Great experience. The holiday drinks hand down awesome. Tipsy reindeer was great. Great use of the gift card and no issues with it.
I ordered a family bundle it was ready right when they said it would be and the order was correct ! Fast and efficient. Eating in or ordering out they do a good job! Also the people working their are very nice!! The very best applebees i have gone too!!!
Place was good and a bit empty surprisingly will definitely come back if thats how it usually is lol especially at the time we went other restaurants around the area had long wait times but this place was good
