Authentic Italian food and old school service that demonstrates the owner appreciates his customers. He helped me take my carry out order to the car. Try and find that at some corporate joint. My daughter rates all Italian restaurants by their meatballs. She gives Venetos 4.5 out of 5, very good. Of course, her mother's meatballs and a couple of small restaurants we like in Italy ever score a 5. ?
Happiness found! We Vistans were so sad at the loss of our wonderful Marcos Restaurant but we have found Veneto’s to be as good or better. Tonight we ate delicious food in a quaint atmosphere with great wine and terrific service.
It was about a block and half from my hotel and a little walk but i made it walker and all. On a budget i had the Lasagna and it was the best Ive ever had. Really, so I assume the rest of menu the same. I was surprised at the menu pricing and the waitress was so nice. Being alone about 7 pm I took it to my room as it does have some odd folks around but no one bothered this 76 year old woman, everyone was very nice. I was amazed at this place, small and cozy. I think you will love it too
A great place for good Italian food. The service is great and the atmosphere is very authentic. Recommend this spot to anyone who appreciate a good evening out.
I had a fairly good lunch experience at the restaurant. The food sampled was certainly Italian, and come out quick and very hot. And the dishes presented were to a sensible standard. The owner was very welcoming and our overall experience was good.Would like to come back and sample more offerings.
This place was a gem of a find. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the ambiance-kind of traditional European vibe, music not too loud. We had a Bruschetta appetizer. Our waiter was attentive and pleasant. I had lasagna and was quite satisfied. My wife had a salmon and shrimp dish and was very pleased. For dessert we shared a lava chocolate dish, with coffee, that took the whole experience to the next level! We would eagerly eat there again the next time we pass through Oceanside.
We got into town early Easter Sunday morning and were so glad to find an open restaurant! But we are a large party (2 big families), so when we first walked up, we were turned away. Too big. The restaurant isn't huge. But we talked to them again and it was a little communication error. We just had to wait a bit.Once we sat down, service was excellent and somehow the food got better than last time! The sausage pasta is such a different (in a good way) flavor. And the tomato basil pasta is . Lasagne is always a good choice.Kids got spaghetti with the meatballs and ate it all. Great place for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed this meal. It was so wonderfully prepared in the flavors were so bright. Very very good Italian. They were very short staffed but their quality didn’t slip one bit. Really enjoyed the meal.
We ordered pizza for pick up from Venetos and it was a great experience. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The pizza was delicious. We had pepperoni with fresh mushrooms, sauce was great, oregano taste. Crust was crisp and chewy, just the way I like it. Perfectly browned too. Nice Italian decor in restaurant, I will go back and dine in once Covid is over. Easy parking in restaurant 's own lot.
